I got these bindings last year. I've almost exclusively had Ride bindings previously. I wanted to try something new and had heard good things about Salomon, so a bought a pair. PROS: I usually break bindings in one season and these have held up very well. They barley looked used after 40+ days. They're also very light. CONS: The convertable toe strap does not work for me at all. It slips off my boot in the toe cap position. The toe strap is not quite shaped right for my boots in the standard position. I end up cutting circulation to my toes most days. Bottom line is that I like these bindings, but I'm going back to Ride for my next pair.

The positives about this boot is that it fits my foot very well. I've got a narrow heel and a wide toes. The toe box is very roomy. My biggest complaint about these boots is that the inner lining only cinches up 2/3 of the way. They leave a 1" x 1" square of fastener to secure the top portion of the inner liner. For me, this is not close to enough holding power. My boots constantly (about every two runs)loosen up. I've ridden on them about 10 days hoping that breaking them in would reduce the loosening factor with no luck. If these boots are stiff I wouldn't know it. Some other negatives include that the outer laces started fraying at the top on ride 3 and the tweed material on the outside likes to collect snow, making these boots heavier that they could be.
