Mountain Khakis Cottonwood Cord Pant - Men's    Read other reviews of this product

Bitchin pants.   01-05-08

Kind of spendy but are prolly my sweetest pants. The fabric is soft and a li'l bit stretchy but still pretty resilient (for chords anyway), the cut is schweet and the extra pocket on the right on-seam is a nice bonus. I have a few pairs of these and the MK originals and the only thing I've noticed is that their sizing can be pretty inconsistent. When you find the ones that fit, though, you might never take them off. Peace.

Icebreaker BodyFit150 Boxer Brief - Men's    This product is no longer available

Great home for your boys   03-14-08

Merino. That's all I have to say. But I'll say more: These absorb all manner of nastiness that results from your aerobic pursuits while still keeping you warm and not stinking too badly. Let's face it pal, your Johnnies are going to stink. These mitigate that effect as much as possible. Get them. Everyone else in the snowcave will appreciate it.

Icebreaker Sport320 Rock Zip Shirt - Long Sleeve - Men's    Read other reviews of this product

Merino: I's from da Eart, mon.   03-02-08

And you know the best stuff is. Merino and Icebreaker in particular is unbeatable when it comes to regulating your body temp, being soft on your skin and not making you stinky. This shirt is a bit thick for ski touring unless it's really cold but when the temp drops it's the cats pjs.

Nice lightweight mitts   02-22-08

These mitts round out my three piece backcountry glove system. I use them on the descent over the soft shell gloves I wear skinning up or over a pair of puffy mitts if it's super cold. They're lightweight and waterproof with a gauntlet over your sleeve and a great synching system. They stuff into a pocket and disappear. I'm not sure how paclight will stand up to a season of tree riding but you usually sacrafice abrasion resistance when you go for weight savings.

Nice but not super warm.   02-02-08

I bought these gloves basically as leather wear around town gloves and they are outstanding in that capacity. I would hesitate to wear them on the mountain or in the bc unless it was a pretty warm day. Maybe in the spring I'll bust them out since the leather is waterproof. I haven't made up my mind about the velcro closure: some days I like it, some days it's annoying.

Ambler hats are sweeeeeet.   01-07-08

After checking out the craftsmanship of the hat that I bought for my wife, I purchased a men's ambler hat for myself. Top notch materials and construction.

Cute warm hat   01-07-08

My wife loves her red hat. It keeps her ears warm and makes her look like a teenager. That reminds me...I love her red hat, too. I just wish it was wool.
