Awesome shoes

Great shoes for flats. I'm a women's size 8 (39) and I bought these on Chainlove in the men's size 7. I took a chance as the size chart says I should buy the 6.5 but they were out and I'm glad I did. They fit great! I removed the flimsy stock footbeds and replaced with SOLE Ultras and am now completely in love with these shoes. I have a little room in the toe still but otherwise they are snug and comfortable. The wide and flat outsole is perfect with my flat pedals (Crank Bros 5050). The rubber is pretty grippy and I like that they are non-marking. When the outsoles got wet they were a little slippery, but they were also brand new. I haven't noticed any slip in the 15 rides I've gotten in since then. They hike pretty well when I wimp out, too. Don't be afraid of the white, they look great with dirt on them. |

Fantastic fit and styling!

Ok, the deal was also too good to pass up on Chainlove. I initially bought the black in Medium due to the other great reviews here. It breathes great and I really like the additional coverage on the backside. Cap sleeves aren't too tight, either. It was slightly longer than even I had anticipated, so on the second round I bought a size small in the nickel. It also fits great, probably even better than the medium. I'm 5'6", 120 lbs. One thing to note- the back pocket configuration on both of mine are completely different from each other. The review stated there are 3 pockets; one zippered pocket in the middle and two other pockets, one on each side of the zippered pocket. On the black shirt, the zippered pocket is the only access and the only pocket; items are free to float around the entire backside of the shirt. It looks like there are 3 pockets, but that's not the case. On the nickel shirt, there is only one pocket- the zippered one in the center back. The other pockets are sewn shut- they aren't pockets at all. Kind of strange and for this it gets a 4 out of 5. But, no complaints otherwise. It really is a flattering shirt that breathes well and looks cute! Free Oakley tire lever with purchase- it comes attached to the shirt. Kind of a novelty but they actually work. |

The review states that the liner is integrated. It is NOT. It is totally removable. These shorts are awesome! |

Cute Cute Cute! And totally functional for MTB!

Why can't there be more shorts like this on the market? It's nice to have a short that is not only functional with pockets that are well thought-out, but they are very flattering. These are my favorite shorts for all day rides, not just for around town. I've been on the quest for women's MTB shorts that aren't spandex, that look and fit great, and have enough padding for all-day epic rides on the trails. These fit the bill perfectly! The name is deceiving- you can definitely wear these on the trail. The removable chamois liner feels awesome, is fairly thick, and adds great value to the purchase. I am 5'6", 120 lbs and I bought the mediums for a slightly loose fit. I also have other Fox MTB shorts in small. Overall the fit is true to size. I LOVE these shorts! I can't wait for them to go on sale as I hope to buy the other color, too! Really, these shorts are great. I get a lot of compliments from guys and gals alike. Buy 'em! |

Nice glove for AM

I've got 15 rides on these gloves now. You definitely want to go by the size chart and then go up one size. I ordered the Large and they fit nicely- my hands are pretty average in size and I have long fingers. They breathe great, even in 90+ degree Fruita heat. Dexterity is good and the nubbins on the tips of the index and middle fingers are great for feathering the brakes. I'm a little bummed, I yanked one of the gloves too hard as I was putting it back on my hand and subsequently ripped the material at the seam away from the padding on one of them- it's about a 1" rip that is fixable, but it was entirely my fault. Overall I am happy with these gloves for all-mountain and XC rides. |
