Perhaps it is the European sizing, or it could be my feet, but I found these shoes to bite my little toes on each foot. There is a reinforcement point right where the pinky toes rub inside the shoe. There is a thin layer of material to separate your foot from that leather, but I can feel it clearly through this layer. As such, I can not wear these shoes for more than about fifty minutes at a time. They are fine for me for now, but I will eventually replace them. Good cost, durable, tight lacing.
