This lightweight vest is very durable, windproof and breathable! Great fit for large guy like me! Great for hiking with only t-shirt and layer under ski jacket for skiing.

This is by far the best and most versatile single piece of apparel (multiple pockets, durable material, etc.) one could own and use! The Denali Vest rocks, can be used from MTB to causal ice skating rink outings. I already owned a blue/black one. And promised myself that once an all black one came on sale, I would jump on it before you could blink an eye!

I just received jacket, and before I even put it on, I could tell this is one well made product. Waterproof zippers, sizing (XXL) just right for us larger outdoor types. Having purchased several jackets for running, looking forward to putting this one to the test. Very light weight and well-made attached hood. Zippered pockets are large enough not only for keys and an ID, but energy bars, etc. Can't wait to wear jacket this winter during snowy and rainy weather.

After the advice of Amy, staff member at BackcountryStore, purchased what I consider to be the best trail shoe on the market for larger runners who happen to promote. These shoes were not only very cushioned, but very, very supportive and had great stability/motion control(has several opporunities to turn my ankle and did not!), fantastic traction from the outer sole(almost tripped over the aggressive sole traction). If you are larger runner looking for great trail shoes, look no further!! This are the Shoes!!!

Using these shoes here in MD on slippery, wet, sometimes icy and muddy trails. Great support over varying terrain and as long as the water does not go over your ankle, very water proof!! Not a bad shoe for winter running on trails!

Just purchased the Switchback shoe for upcoming 50K Trail Race (Hat 50K in MD). Well I have to say, the previous reviews were some what right & wrong. First, I am big runner (250lbs! & Pronate). The left shoe does have heel left, but not my right ft. Break-in time is not an issue, could be due to my size! My only gripe is the shoe is a tad tall in the sole, therefore when running over varying terrain w/an aggressive outer sole, I have a tendancy to roll my foot when hitting a hidden root or stone. Other than that this shoe Rocks! What a tank of a shoe. Too bad it is not waterproof!

I am a large runner, 235lbs and these shoes really surprised me. Great fit (in fact dual system), very cushioned, supportive (hard to twist ankle!). My only gripe, future design should have more of a protective nlyon plate under forefoot section of shoe for running over stones, etc. Compared to other trail shoes, except the Montrail Vitesse, these shoes really rock!! Will let everyone know how the shoe handles 50k races in the future!

Compared to some other brands: Gregory Advent Pro, Go-Lite Team, Camelbak Transalp, etc., this pack rocks! For the size, 1460 cu. in, this pack has a flexible internal frame(single aluminum stay combined w/poly sheath), compression straps, pockets, etc. Great pack for peak bagging, adventure racing, trail running, MTB, any fast moving sports. Reviews on this pack have been next to nothing. I am here to say, check this pack out!
