I received my jacket about a month ago and I love it. The jacket is a great all around piece of gear that is good for any season. So far in a month it has already seen snow, serious cold, and rain. You can wear it just as a shell to keep out a serious downpour and paired with some underlayers it is dry, windproof and toasty warm. I love that it doesn't have the usual crunchy stiff feel of gore-tex. The more you wear it, the better it feels. The jacket also seems very well built so I have no concerns about durability. The jacket is also a great cut for women. I'm average height and build and the jacket isn't too long or short and has a more feminine cut but has room for layering. Salomon could have gone with a removable hood but I usually leave mine on anyways. As the hood isn't bulky it doesn't really get in the way. I've worn a lot of gore-tex and various shells and this one is tops.
