I decided to pick up a pair after reading good reviews...the sandals really are a great pair of all-around footwear. Very comfortable with or without socks, and when my luggage got lost and I had to do some light trekking and hiking on rocks for the first few days in these, they worked great. Amazing grip, very sturdy and stable...the only reason I switched back to my hikers was because I wanted some more protection for my toes, and there is slightly less cushioning in these for long hikes than some other shoes. Otherwise, they were great and nice and cool as well. Highly recommend them...

as i expected, the bug repellent capability of the bandanna is limited, if effective at all. while I was trekking through the deserts of Jordan, flies would routinely land on my bandanna, so it obviously wasn't working. But the product itself looks great, is well made, and I wouldn't hesitate to buy it on its own merit, but the extra cost for the special function probably isn't worth it.
