K2 Cinch versus Flow
03-28-07 ![]() |
I've tried both the K2 Cinch and the Flow bindings. I definitely like the Cinch better than the Flow. I find the Flow difficult to open. The ice gets caught in the mechanism and it's hard to open with the thumb alone. With the K2, you slide your index finger and pull the binding shut or open with much more ease because of the design of the mechanism. I've had cursing sessions with the Flow bindings trying to get in and out. Also, the K2 gives you the possibility to hold the boot around the toe like Burton bindings but they are so much easier to get in and out. I find it quite easy to close my bindings on the chair lift and I'm instantly ready to go when I reach the top. |
