Nearly perfect

Title says it all. Great fit, breathes well, completely water proof, and surprisingly tough. I only wish the edge guards on the pant legs were a little bigger. |

Good, but not great

After trying these I ended up exchanging them and picking two different pairs of Hestra gloves. I wanted a year round under the cuff glove, and while these were warm, stylish, supple and great fit they really don't fit well under any of my jackets' cuffs. I like being able to take off my gloves, but it was a real hassle to get the glove back under the cuff especially with my Patagonia jackets which have a slightly smaller elastic cuff compared to my North Face. I think the Hestra Ski Cross is a better option for those seeking an under cuff glove, and if you really like the style of these and like a big over the cuff glove you might want to consider the Hestra Heli Glove. I own both of the previously mentioned gloves and think that they are both sick. |

Killer

I'm a Hestra fan, and own a pair of under cuff Hestra Ski Cross as well. These things are not Gore Tex, but after a full season never had an issue of staying dry (of course I'm CO, so heavy, wet snow fall is not that common). I picked these up for powder days, and ended up using them every day. The wrist strap wide and very comfortable. The cuffs are huge and easy to tighten. Once the lining packed out a little they became the perfect fit. Supple and if they don't make that weird fabric on fabric noise you get with other non-leather gloves. Adding oil/wax will keep them soft and increase waterproofing, but will darken the appearance of leather palms, but that shouldn't be a surprise. Finally, very warm for a glove, but I still keep a pair of light liners just in case. |

Love these things

I have several different versions of these shorts and this is by far my favorite. Old version felt a little like board shorts, but these are light, flexible, durable, and have a casual look that won't have you feeling out of place on the street. Remember, Patagonia runs true to size. I wear a 32 in everything but dress slacks and Patagonia pants and shorts where I wear a 34 |

Huge fan

Picked these up in the Natural Brown and I haven't noticed any bleeding that I have read about in other reviews. I'm in CO so I normally don't worry about wet snow when I'm on the mountain, but somehow have already put these gloves to the test and they held up great and I still haven't had an issue with wet hands. The contoured and flexible cuff is the best design I have seen for an under sleeve glove. No real hassle if you find yourself constantly taking off your gloves, but of course you are probably going to be doing less of that considering their supple nature. Only draw back, I need a light liner when the temp really drops. |

Functional but a real nusance

The hat itself is a tremendous, small, lightweight option for running in the cold, or back country hiking. However, the existence of two openings on the hat near the ears are in my opinion useless. I'm sure they were designed w/ a purpose, but I can't figure out what it could possibly be. Also, the stitching that closes the gap can be exceptionally irritating if it rubs at all against the skin. Lose these openings and it is a tremendous product. |

Timeless

There is nothing fancy or technical about this fleece. It's warm and comfortable wet or dry, and is great for knocking around the campsite or pounding the pavement downtown. The stash pocket isn't quite made for carrying around your little ones, but it sure is good when your hands get chilled. You'll probably also have a great time trying to figure out how something can be this soft and be made out of mostly recycled materials. |

Just enough to make a difference
07-16-07 ![]() |
It's Patagonia, so quality isn't an issue. Great for the skier/rider/backcountry user that needs just a little more warmth without adding bulk. Once in your stash pocket, you will probably forget that they are even there. However, when the barometer starts to drop you will be glad you found them. They offer just enough insulation to make difference and they don't bind up when putting your hand in your glove. |

Sick
07-16-07 ![]() |
Not my first pair, and as far as fit, style, and lens quality I have never owned another pair of goggles that even compares. Only because I hate making something sound perfect I would say that the foam could be better. The triple padding from Oakley is a little better as far as durability, but to be honest once these are on your face you probably wouldn't notice a difference. |

Whether you are trying to relive the glory of Fast Times at Ridgemont High, or just looking for something that is easy on the feet and the eyes this is a great shoe for you. I recently saw someones grandpa walking out of a Safeway sporting a pair, and I must admit I dug his style |
