overpriced and horrible headphones   01-10-09

OK the bluetooth on this thing paired up with my bb curve just fine. The helmet fits great, and keeps me warm enough to where I am still comfy when it's single digits out. Now the bad part. Seriously, there is zero bass on the built in speakers. Like 100% crap. Sounds like you are listening to all treble. I am going to sell my helmet and get one of those smith holt ones, because the sound quality. The helmet also looks kind of ghey because those giant round speakers. You look like a helicopter pilot.

helmet   04-17-08

Basically this helmet sucks. 1. about 99% of the world uses and IPOD while riding. Guess what, ipod blue tooth devices are about 50.00 more. Also they suck. So that leaves you with a straight 1/8th cable to plug into speakers who's volume is only controlled by your ipod. So the loudest your ipod will go is still too quiet on the headphones that come with the ear pods. Speaking of headphones these ones suck. There is 0 bass, and the sound is flat and horrible. I have a BB pearl and the blue tooth function does sync with that, but tends to lose it's connectivity. The microphone part of this also is chitty. Basically, the helmet is a good idea, but is really freaking cheap quality stuff. Like worse than some crap you would get at the dollar store. The helmet itself is comfy for my head, not sure about everyone else's. I would just save your money and get the regular red helmets and put your own headphones in. Just keep your phone in your pocket. do you really need to be answering that many calls while riding???? Helmet is good headphones/bluetooth part sucks
