The Gregory Reality (02) was, to me, a high priced backpack. But after 30 minutes on the trail, I knew that it was money well spent! I own 6 backpacks of differing brands and sizes with multiple features, but I just could not imagine the difference in comfort that the Reality would make. I believe that size is only relevant to how much you want to carry, as is weight capacity. But the Reality carried my 25+ lb. load like it was 10-12lbs in any of my other packs. The Reality is also deserving of credit when it comes to its many adjustments. (I'm 6' 4" at 265lbs and with a little effort it fit perfectly.) I shopped 10 months for a new backpack doing my homework the whole time and my only regret is not buying the Reality at first chance. P.S. BackcountryStore.com gave me great service and the best price. So if money is an issue then save up, the Reality is all that. Ford-o-matic from Tennessee
