I bought these gloves as an upgrade to my ski gloves, but my first time using them was ice climbing in the Canadian Rockies. They were awesome! The day that stands out the most: six hours on the ice at -20F. My hands never got cold. They breathe exceptionally well and the leather palms saw no damage from ice tools. A friend on the trip had brought the BD Ice Glove but was disappointed that his liners were not removable. Overall the BD Guide Glove has everything I want: super warm, light, durable, and removable liners.
