It all seemed a bit daunting at first, but don’t let the multitude of functions put you off, after a short time it becomes all very familiar. This is one amazing piece of kit that does precisely what it says on the box and most importantly is very comfortable to wear. I’m dumbfounded how it can measure such infinitesimal changes in pressure, for instance the difference in height from my kitchen, ground floor, to the lounge on the first floor. I was concerned that Suunto had decided to use their chest belt, for the heart rate monitor, in preference to the well-proven Polar design, but my concerns were unfounded. Out of interest the X6HR worked with my old Polar Coded Belt. The data transfer to the computer was fast and reliable with the ability to change certain watch parameters a plus point. It may seem expensive but it’s worth every penny.
