I have had my arcteryx for two seasons now and am extremely happy. Going on long hikes with my dog and standing out waiting for the bus in the snow never bothers me. I found out the hard way that the soft shell wasn't waterproof at a football game, but I sprayed on some waterproofing and it works great now. My only complaint is that it doesn't have a hood. Wind is rough on the ears. Other than that I wouldn't buy another brand. Arc'teryx knows what they're doing and I thank them for their genious.
