I have the black/denim darklights, and they're great skateboarding shoes. The key characteristics of these shoes are killer ankle protection and great heel and side protection, especially since it is made of denim. The only downside is the look, which is somewhat bland due to the color. But if you're more about quality, this is a great shoe. As for looks go for the purple ones.
