While the hurricane pants managed to keep me dry during a steady rain it failed to keep me warm! The pants are paper thin much to my disappointment. Also the adjustable strap around the waist is very confusing. I still can't seem to get the hang of it. I highly advise a pair of long-johns to wear underneath. This item definitely is not for temp's under 50 degrees. If you work outdoors in the cold and rain I would not recommend them. These pants are geared for warmer temp's.
