my husband got the rack for his birthday. He put it on the car and it was stolen the first day he drove with it on - at work, in braod daylight, in a busy-enough area. It would be nice if there were some kind of obvious note with the product information stating that you have to buy separate gear to go with it so it will actually stay attached to your car. i'm sure the product itself would have been great if we would have been able to use it. :)
