Best of the best

If I were to get buried, I'd want all my friends to have the Pieps...the range is far better than the tracker, in my avy 1 course I was picking up signal at 70m while the Trackers wouldn't detect anything until 35-40m. The interface is simple and easy to follow, and the pinpoint once you drop the beacon to the snow is incredibly accurate. I hope to never use it in a real burial, but if I do I'm confident it will take me to the victim quickly enough to give them a fighting chance. I bought the Pieps based on a few reviews and my friend's experiences with them in their avy courses, and am glad I pulled the trigger. |

Amazingly stable rippers

I'm 5'10", 160lbs and riding the 191s mounted on center...these were my first pair of Scotts (I have a pair of punishers now as well) and I absolutely love them. Stable at speed, blast through crud, burly bases...pretty much everything I look for in a ski. For their size they're very nimble and easy to get around in tight situations. Not recommended for hard pack naturally, but if you find yourself on a groomer they can still arc out some impressive carves. |

Best ski pants I've owned....

I used these for the first time for the first significant dump California has seen in 2007....and some of the wettest snow I've ever seen. No water got through, not even a drop. My gloves were thoroughly soaked but my legs were as dry as a bone. Light, warm and generally fantastic pants. |
