I have never been more completely satisfied with a single piece of gear. This jacket is amazing in nearly any conditions. It has handled massive amounts of powder, sleet, and rain. The venting options (pit zips, core vents/pockets) are priceless as I tend to run very warm. I really like that the hood (helmet compatible) can be rolled down when not in use. I choose this jacket over the Arc'Teryx Alpha SV as the features of this jacket were too good to pass up. I would purchase this jacket again in a second!

I found these gloves to be very warm and was initially impressed with the construction. I have worn them on several boarding and winter snowshoe / mountaineering outings. Much to my surprise it appears that repeated use on hook-and-loop items is causing the tips of the fingers to begin looking frayed. I have always been happy with Black Diamond gear, and I am sure these will hold up, at least through a couple of winter seasons.

Love this pack! Works great as a cold weather day pack, hauling a splitboard, a day ice climbing, etc... No complaints, would purchase again without reservation, even without considering the lifetime warranty.

These pants are bomber! This is my second pair, as my first were stolen and these performed far too well not to replace. I have used them extensively during winter mountaineering and wore them to the top of Denali. The full side zips make them easy to add/remove while wearing boots / snowshoes / crampons. They pack small and loft well for synthetic, and you don't have to worry about moisture issues.

I have nothing but good things to say about these mitts! They are the best value for warmth and durability. They were almost too warm on my Denali summit day! This is the second pair I have owned, as my first were stolen and this was one item that I had to have in my gear arsenal.
