Lole sizing does it again
04-01-08 ![]() |
I love Lole. I really do. Their clothes are adorable and when they fit, they fit great. However, I find their sizing to be extremely inconsistent. I have a couple Lole skirts the same size as this skort. One skirt fits perfectly, the other is about a size too large and shimmies down my hips when I walk. This skort is probably being returned. It's so tight I can barely pull it up past my knees. It feels at least two sizes smaller than marked. |

Good hat
05-29-08 ![]() |
I have this in brown. It's a good looking hat, very comfortable, and I like that it's organic cotton. The only thing is that I'm a petite lady and this hat's a bit big on me. The strap does a fine job tightening the band, but because the hat itself is a little too big, once I get the strap tight enough the fabric above it poofs out. Wish they made this in a smaller size as an option. |

Weird sizing
04-17-08 ![]() |
I usually wear a medium in prAna tops. I have the Lacie shirt in large and it's almost too tight in the sleeves. The crochet band under the bust is pretty tight, too. I wash it in cold and hang dry, and it was like this before I washed it. I also find the sleeves to be inconveniently long, but they are bell sleeves and are intended to be that way. It's a very pretty dressy/casual top, not an active one. Just don't plan to do any heavy work with your hands in it. |

great shirt
03-17-08 ![]() |
I guess maybe I fit the description of wide and short, but this shirt fits great. I'm 5'2" and usually take a 6-8 in tops, but I'm a 12-14 on the bottom. This shirt hits at the top of my hips, so my larger lower half doesn't really apply. I find the shirt to be very flattering and super soft and comfy. It's my new favorite workout shirt. Keeps sweat under control, too. And yeah, gotta love the Goat. More colors please! |

needs work

This is the same product as the men's Cosmo, just in different colors. I'm impressed with how darn bright this is and how comfortable it is to wear. The adjustable beam works much better than expected. It's also really stable walking around. Haven't tried it on my bike yet. The problem I have with it is the case design. Getting the battery cover off is really hard. Plan to break a nail every time you have to change the batteries. Getting the cover back on is easier, but it's easy to catch the flexible hinges in the cover when you close it, too. The multi-position switch is a massive pain. I actually returned my first Moxie thinking it was broken. On and off is easy. However, getting the switch partway depressed to go into the "special" modes takes a careful touch and quite a bit of getting used to. Screwing with a temperamental device on a trail in the dark is not my idea of fun. They really need to rework the case on this. |

Definitely weird sizing

I usually find MH to run small. Not this top. I'm a 36B who could stand to lose some belly weight. The medium in this top was gigantic on me, not only all the way around but also in the straps. I usually buy tanks with adjustable straps because I'm only 5'3" and lots of tops are too long for me. I couldn't get this top's straps anywhere near short enough. They were out of smalls, so I couldn't exchange and just had to return it. |

Awesome pack!
04-16-08 ![]() |
I have the 2006 model of the Magic. It holds a surprising amount of stuff, in addition to plenty of water for a 3-5 hour ride. The big bite valve is the best thing to happen to mountain biking since the wheel. No dirt or other nasty stuff gets into your water supply. The pack is extremely comfortable and light. The various straps are all adjustable and it's easy to cinch it up so it doesn't budge even on really bumpy terrain. You can almost forget you're wearing it. The curved straps and shorter profile fit a woman's shape perfectly without binding, squishing tender parts, or creeping up your back to push into your helmet. This is one of the best pieces of equipment I've ever bought. |

Pretty good, but
04-10-08 ![]() |
I ordered this to layer over thermals and fleece in a vain attempt to stay warm in the biting winds of the eastern Colorado plains (think Kansas, but flatter and more grey). I have friends who swear the Alchemy is absolutely windproof. I disagree. It is moderately wind-resistant and has very little warmth on its own. It has a nice high collar and is very stretchy, which is great for layering. Excellent quality, which you'd expect for the price and the brand. I also wish MH would make petites. Some items aren't as noticeable, but on this jacket, the arms are WAY too long for me and it's uncomfortable when they bunch up after I put gloves on. |

Cute, comfy skirt
04-01-08 ![]() |
This skirt is loose on me, and I probably could have ordered a size smaller. It's very comfortable and the thin corduroy is very soft. The skirt is a really flattering length and not so short you can't pick things up off the ground in it. There are green and white fabric panels at the sides that are not apparent in the photo. Unfortunately, I think they make it too casual to wear to work on Fridays, which is what I really bought it for. |

Cute, comfy, wearable
08-29-08 ![]() |
Lovely soft fabric with nice drape. Washes and dries easily. Flattering cut. However, I'm a B-cup and I don't see how anyone could get away with skipping a bra underneath. I wouldn't call it "substantial." It's normal to not have a bra built into a dress, just don't expect it to do something it doesn't. It's definitely an A-line - and if it wasn't, I couldn't wear it. I'm bigger on the bottom than the top, and I usually can't wear Patagonia pants because if the waist fits, they're too tight in the thighs. As it is, I really like this dress. |
