Lasted all of 2 weeks and was never stellar to begin with

Sent this back after 2 weeks because it stopped working. Several things that I was unhappy with when it was working: The pads to put your fingers on are on the side of the watch, not on the face, which makes it very awkward to do heart rate checks. You can check calories burned, but if you're in this mode and you do a heart rate check, it uses that reading to recalibrate resting heart rate. Even in pristine condition, the watch always took a few tries to get an accurate reading. I've discovered with its replacement (different manufacturer) that this was a defect in the watch, not the monitoring technology, because my new monitor works every time. Yes its cheap but spend a few extra bucks for something that actually works. |
