I've been purchasing the Lorpen Ultra LIghts for over 5 years -- and they have been awesome. Very thin & extremely durable -- and the coolmax works great to prevent "sweaty feet". I use the socks on a daily basis, although they excel for running & biking as well. BUT!.... My current shipment as of March 2009 --- The quality of these socks has changed for the worst!! Although they have proven adequate thus far, I must admit if it were not for the fact that I got them on sale, I would be returning them. Not sure what is up with the Lorpen company -- but, I can only suspect out-sourcing of their manufacturing like so many other companies that no longer seem to care about quality. I am sooooo disappointed as there is not another sock on the market that could have previously compared to these. Before I purchase socks again, I'll be doing some shopping research & will likely buy from a different manufacturer.
