Picked these up on sale and am pretty happy with them. They're really comfy off the bike which is nice. The shoe manages a very good balance of comfort while still having a nice stiff sole. Look wise they're not hideous, but they're not gorgeous either. Then again I'm more of a fan of simple boot look than the whole synthetic upper / sport sneaker thing. It'd be nice if these were available in more of a business casual boot look for the commuters this shoe really appeals to. Be aware that these are SPD shoes so they won't work with Shimano's road bike pedals (SPD use 2 cleats in a horizontal configuration) - not a major concern just something to be aware of - the Shimano PD-A520 Sport SPD pedals are a good match here.
