This is a great light weight soft shell. I like in the North West and is often very wet and cold and windy and this has stood the test to all three. I am a pretty big guy and always warm so this thin breathable pants are great. The way they fits like a kick around pant not some ultra tight running biking pant. I have used them for running, biking, climbing and snowboarding. North Face is really getting back on their game as far as functional clothing for a very reasonable price.
