These merino leggings rock. And they never smell either, a great quality about merino. I can sweat all day in these skiing and wear them again the next day, no problem. They dry really fast and they keep me very warm. The body fit 200 is a great weight for cold weather sports, love this product.

I dig it. Easy to use, comes with two keys. It's a little heavier than I'd like because I'm used to chintzy locks. Great product at a good price. Buy it.

This is my go to piece,the best piece of gear I own probably! I got this jacket after seeing my boyfriend where is everywhere during every sporting, camping, skiing thing that we do. I now do the same and we look like idiots but at least we're warm. This jacket is kick butt, the thick merino wool never stinks and keeps you warm. You can use it for summer evenings and use it for the gnarliest snow underneath your shell while you stay warm on the slow lift. The reflective center strip is good for walking in the evening. I own 10 + icebreaker pieces, this by far is the best one, I almost want another one in another color! If it's on sale, get it!

I love the Smartwool balaclava. I had used a fleece/poly combo for years and this is way better. It doesn't get smelly after I wear it for days on end and I ski like crazy. I get really cold and this does the job, it can cover all the way up to my goggles. The only thing that is a consideration on this is I am a very small female and this is a one size fits all and it's a little big for me. So if you are a tiny person, you might want to think about that, it still works, it's just a bit big, but I still don't get cold even though it's large. I love it!

I dig it. It's small enough to put in my ski jacket and then eat soup or a can of tuna while skiing. You guessed it, I'm a total beater and a cheapskate on the mountain.

This is awesome for my commute to the office, it's warm when I get there through about lunchtime then not so much (so 6 hours or so). It's not as efficient as a thermos, but it's good for short trips. There is not a sip feature with it which is a major bummer. If you remove the plastic tab in the top to clean it, you'll be out of a tumbler as it will leak everywhere. So don't lose that piece. The color is great and the size is perfect for bringing extra coffee with me to work or tea!

This is great cap and folds up easily for traveling. I got the small and I'm a really small female and it is still a little bit loose, so it definitely is more of a unisex fit.

The new colors on the Kleen Kanteen are awesome. I got the brown one and it's sick, looks great with a white sticker on it. It washes easily, isn't toxic and keeps my water chilled in the hot yoga classroom which is a huge advantage. If you come and go from different atmospheric pressure, the lid can be hard to open, I commute to a high mountain location and come down to a lower mountain spot often so when I get down I have use some muscle to open the bottle back up. Awesome bottle, definitely recommend getting one of these. Do not drop them though, they will dent.

These socks are great, they wash well and are warm! I'm a small female so I was able to get the kids L and they are the perfect size. Smartwool makes great socks.

This wallet rules. It doesn't cost a lot and is durable. It even has an id sleeve on the outside. Tons of space for money and cards. The spring patterns are way fun!

I bought this for the gym, because I bike there, it's a pain to lug towels with me that are so bulky, I'll use it camping too. I tested it out yesterday in the size Small and it was definitely enough to dry my whole body off and my hair! It dried out fast too on the towel rack at home.

Blurr sizing is really inconsistent. Backcountry lists the sizing from blurr which is mostly correct, however these shorts in Burlap are bunk. I ordered a 2 and they look like a girl's 14!! I tried the 4 and they were more like a size 0. Alas, they are out of the 6 in this color so I won't be trying again but the other colors it sounds like are sized differently. The shorts though were so nice, I wish they fit! I like blurr stuff but I find from garment to garment their items to be inconsistent on fit. Glad for backcountry.com's great return policy, so I don't mind trying a few and sending back.

This bag rules. My friend loved it so much so I got her one too. The material is sturdy and it can take being thrown around. It has one external pocket on the end and that's it but it's big enough to throw your wallet and keys in there. The small size fits my gym clothes, sneakers, shower stuff and a pair of clean jeans plus towels. I love it! The new colors and patterns from Dakine are really fun!

These socks are awesome. They never smell and retain their stretchy factor. They wash well and I hang dry them and the colors stay strong too. Way stronger than Smart Wools which are good but tend to wear out after a couple of years of heavy use. You get what you pay for and they are made in Vermont! I'm ok with paying more if it means more Vermonters have jobs! Awesome socks, get a pair, they last and stay cushiony.

The only bad thing is that locks don't come with Thule parts. These locks are awesome, I was able to install them on the feet to attached to the bars without help in less than 5 minutes for all four! If you can afford the extra locks then you can have some for other thule racks you might install so you can just have one key. It's worth buying locks, you don't want your rack or your gear stolen!

Easy install but geez for so much money you'd think they'd throw in the locks. A good product easy to install but 4 stars because locks cost me even more cash! I have a 2006 Subaru and these went on quickly.

This is a great shell but be wary of that white color, it gets dirty fast. I didn't love the chest high pockets in the front, but i wasn't with my pack that day, so it's a good feature if you ski with a pack or are ice climbing with a harness. I stayed dry and the wind was nuts and I was still just fine. My only complaint is the hood doesn't detach which I would have liked to have as an option. Otherwise a great piece of gear to add to your closet. If you order the appropriate size you have plenty of room for a layer underneath.

This is a fantastic top. After trying many stonewear pieces, I got this one. It is the lycra poly blend that dries fast. This top is also excellent if you are bigger than a B cup! It has a strong internal shelf bra so if you do wear your own running bra, it's highly efficient. Washes well with hang dry and is super comfortable. Check the size chart it is accurate on what size to purchase. This is great alternative to Prana and Patagonia climbing tops which are not made for busty women.

This rack is way way tall, I'm five feet and have serious trouble reaching it. So when the arms open up, to close them I have to climb into the backseat to get up to them. It's a good rack and the pull out feature is really nice for me being short. Installation was relatively easy if you already have cross bars. I noticed the screws came loose holding the rack down, but I have the tool in the car to fix, kind of annoying you could lose a screw if you don't notice that. However, I bought this because the regular one was out of stock thus costing me lots more money. If the regular one is in stock, I'd save your cash and just get that one. and yes, they don't close if they are pulled out, highly annoying.

These booties were great, I had to return mine since they were too small. But they are warm and comfortable and very soft. Recommend.

This is a great wide mouth bottle. It keeps stuff cold a little longer and it cleans out super easily. The lid is also attached by a neat rope so you won't lose it on your hike or just around.

I too have very small feet a 5.5 in women's and these socks fit me great in the kids L and are just as warm as adult socks from smartwool. A note on sizing, the sizing chart is in shoe sizes and is up to date to answer any questions here.

I have never gotten so many compliments on a pair of shoes. I love Keens, these boots are lined with the boiled wool so they are warm for the whole winter. They also have the silicon leather on them so my feet stay dry when going to work. They are the coolest boots, I recommend a tall sock though if you don't tuck them into jeans, if you have short socks, the wool can be scratchy on your shins.

this thing rules. I got the Xs because the mountain hardware coat made me look like a marshmallow. This is fitted but yet still performs. I was skiing in below 0 temps the other day and put this on under my gore tex shell and I was SOOO WARM. It is great around town day to day and does well hiking and walking too. Stylish and still technical, I love this jacket and if you can grab it on sale it's so worth the higher cost. My only beef is my feathers when I first got it were coming out a little bit with the fine 700 fill down, but that seems to be lessening now. Great coat, do it.

Another icebreaker purchase for my dad after getting him one shirt he had to have another for the holidays. It's meant to be a layering piece so if you want a casual look size it up. He has gone hunting for some good 3 and 4 day trips and not had to wash it and it he stays warm. If you haven't bought icebreaker yet, do it and try this shirt, I have the women's one and it's amazing!

Got this for mom and she actually likes it! The sleeves are long if you're under 5 foot 2 as are with any item in regular sizes. Basic shirt, washes and dries well and looks good!

A good basic rain shell. Got it for my brother and he likes it. Fits great and he stays dry. Not technical but for around the city where he lives just going out and about it's totally great! Looks good too!

For the holidays I bought my other brother these boots after buying a pair last year for one of them and myself. I like them. They are a basic winter boot, nothing "hardcore" but will be fine for shoveling, getting around town and I even use them snowshoeing and my feet stay dry. They are not super warm if you're not being active...i.e. if you're standing around at a parade and it's 5 F outside your feet will get cold. If you're moving around on a walk, you'll be fine.

As usual, icebreaker kills it with the body fit leggings. I have the women's and got these for my dad for the holidays and he is loving it. They are the warmest and thin enough to wear even if you just want to put them under jeans. You can sweat in them while skiing for days and days and they still won't smell!

Good liners! They are definitely warm underneath a ski mitt or glove and good for warmer weather conditions and for running too!

this kit is great, the lights are awesome and there's a patch kit included as well. The pump works with both kinds of valves and is light weight and simple to use.

Definitely follow B Lo's advice and size up on these. I love these pants they are totally bomber. You might want to wash them first unless you dig blue streaks of dye on your skin. Great pants, WAY long, if you're a shorty like me you'll have to hem off about 6 or 8 inches but I'm about 5 feet so I do that a lot.

Awesome bars but the price is pretty similar to what you'd pay in the grocery store so unless you already have a big order with free shipping and live somewhere so you don't have to pay the sales tax, I'm not sure ordering food online at a high cost is worth it. I didn't really save any money but I do love backcountry and had another order so it was fine to ship it with it. Great bars, all fruit and chocolaty goodness!!! If backcountry had some more flavors of the nectar bars I'd be more inclined to order several boxes at once.

I'm really tiny and i though this hat was way too floppy and big for me but it's a good hat and get the job done. The brim is really big so it's good if you want that feature but I didn't need one so large. The hat fit my head, but it just looked really large because I'm so small. I love the color and the UPF feature is good!

I lost mine and had to buy another pair. great for low budget lights in the city, the flashing feature is great and you definitely are visible. I got my boyfriend some too and he likes them, they are very portable.

I returned them as well, agreeing with the above poster, I am about 5 feet tall and I was swimming in them. They are way light weight, a little too light, I wanted to rock climb in them but they wouldn't have done well for that. Good for summer hiking but way way too long for me.

Best lights for a good price! I love these lights, I even bought a set for my boyfriend they are super bright. The flashing feature is killer and they are actually bright enough to get around. I wouldn't do anything technical in them but for biking around the city at night and you want some flashy lights they are great. You can take them on and off easily and put them in your pocket or bag so they don't get stolen, sweet!

this tote rules, it even came with some travel sized bottles. It's highly durable and you can pack a lot in it, even full size stuff. I would totally recommend it for someone looking for a travel toiletry kit.

This coat is awesome. I bought two of them and returned the XS in red which isn't like this ugly red in the photo but it's a nice bright red, very flattering. The XS was really tiny and very short in the waist, you'd have to be short and a size 0 to 2 to wear it probably. I stuck with the Small, skied yesterday and it's awesome. Has a ton of features and it's so cheap! I got dumped on outside, didn't get wet and I didn't feel the wind. It's insulated so I was warm and the detachable powder skirt kept snow out of my way when I fell down. This is one of the best coats for the money, buy it!

These socks are way warm. I wear them in the winter with boots or winter clogs. I'm a small female so I got the kids L size to save some money and they are just as good as the adult Smartwool socks. Excellent socks!

Yeah the smaller bladder is great! I got this to go in my Dakine Heli pack, which is smaller than the Heli Pro pack. The 1 liter is perfect for short trips or skiing in bounds days.

Decent enough on this bottle. It's small enough to fit in the cup holder of my car and it's great to have at work, easy to drink out of. However, if it falls off your car or you drop it onto something really hard it may start to leak which is a bummer. Otherwise it is top notch.

these shorts are great! I have three pair of them! they are soft and warm and they don't even smell bad after a day of hiking or skiing! They are washable too and just great. Icebreaker makes the best products, this one lives up to the others for sure.

This is awesome! I have the Heli Pro as well but wanted something smaller for days I'm just cruising. It's big enough to hold lunch, an extra layer and water and some other stuff like goggles. The new shovel pouch is awesome and the hydration sleeve keeps my water from freezing most of the time in the house, although when it's about 0 degrees there's not much you can do.

Awesome snow shoes! They are fantastic and work great! You do not float on top of the snow, but I think there are other shoes that do that. The shoes are great and easy to use! Love it, and what a deal for the price! I'm a small person, so I was hesitant about finding the right shoe, these rock.

These are the best sunglasses ever. I'm very small and these actually fit my face. They come with three lenses and the quality is superior to anything I've ever worn. I love these sunglasses and everyone tells me how great they look. They stay on and are awesome for hiking and everything else outside!

These undies are fantastic and go in the washing machine easily. I ordered a Medium and I'm usually a 4 or 6 so they sometimes ride up a bit. That's my own fault though, the product is great! They are comfy and keep me dry when I'm out hiking or climbing.

I love this jacket. I haven't skied in it yet in the springtime but I did go out during some nasty rain and wind. The jacket did great, kept the wind out so I was warm enough and I stayed totally dry. A great three season jacket, I wouldn't wear it in the wintertime just because I like to be super warmer but it's fine for the rest of the year.

These poles are such a deal for the money and get the job done. I'm a multi-sport athlete so I can use these poles for two types of skiing and for snowshoeing since I can adjust them easily. They were tight at first but some easy adjustments were made and now they are rocking. Awesome poles, BD makes great gear as usual!

We had to return this awesome shirt because of size but you guys were cool about it. I got a medium for my boyfriend who is normally a medium and he was swimming in it. It appears to run big - it fit more like a large. Great shirt though!

After getting sub-par brands I sucked it up and got these and am so pleased. They are your usual ARC smallish sizing. I'm a size 2 to 4 and I went with the small so I'd be comfy with my layers on underneath. the XS was pretty tight for me but I curvy, if you're a straight athletic build and a size 2 the XS would probably be fine. Anyway, they are pretty much waterproof with the Gore-Tex Soft Shell and I stay warm with the soft fleece lining even skiing in -5 F temperatures with good merino underneath. I actually get TOO warm in them if I have thicker layers on but they are awesome. I think touring would be too hot in these in the backcountry but for resort skiing and shorter hikes I'm totally fine in these and the construction is so much better than my crappy old ski pants. These don't rip and they are just bomber. I wish Arc'teryx made petite pants, being 4'11'' mine are so long that when I take my ski boots off I have to roll them up to wear with regular winter boots.
