Crestone 75 Pack
03-08-06 ![]() |
I purchased this pack around December '05. This was my first "decent"(internal frame) pack, my other was old military surplus (ALICE). I took the pack hiking in the Sipsey Wilderness (Alabama) and the pack performed nicely. I almost opted for the Crestone 60, but decided on the 75. Good choice! The 75's extra space really made a difference when I noticed how heavily I packed (rain gear/cold weather gear) A few carabiners (hang stuff) and compression bags and you’re set with this pack. I’m satisfied. |

Right On The Money

This bag is right on the money. It packs and compresses nicely. I would recommend purchasing the bag expander. This bag fits kind of snug in the waist. It kept me warm and comfortable all night on Mt. Cheaha (highest point in AL). Reasonably priced; I give it 4/5. |

Great Light
10-08-06 ![]() |
Just purchased this bad boy from another site but wanted to write a review anyway. This lamp is great. It has a battery indicator (lighted), comfortable to wear and will cut-off immediately rather than having to cycle through all the different settings of bright (a plus compared to cheaper models). I also opted for the color diffuser kit(red, green, blue lenses) for an extra 5 bucks. There is a new 2006 tactical model as well that is khaki and/or camoflauge. Great Light. |
