The hitch pin is threaded and requires a wrench to use (not included and a real nuisance). There is also a holding pin that is flimsy and looks like it could easily come loose. (Be sure you don't want to lock the pin because it's an expensive option.) If the rack accepted a standard hitch pin none of these features would be a problem. Also, I needed to replace a world strap and found that they were backordered for an "indefinite period of time."
