Patagonia Freightliner Max, Rolling Cavern   04-04-03

This is my second Patagonia Freightliner. I bought mine( the first one) in September for a 9 day Ireland golf trip. Everything I needed, except for my clubs fit in the thing. The zip compartment in the bottom of the bag, conveniently colored yellow was very useful---dirty laundry, damp items went in there. The mesh upper compartments were also very useful for shoe storage, etc. We moved around a lot--3 hotels, seven golf courses. The Freightliner was tossed in and out of vans, rolled around airports, tossed around by baggage handlers and used as a closet---no problem. Sturdy and well designed. In contrast, my wife bought a monster rolling bag from The Sharper Image. It was heavy, the hard sides a pain, and the pull handle lasted 3 days. It went back, and the Freightliner I just bought replaced it. Problem solved. The only problem is that It holds so much stuff so well that the entire shoe closet goes in, and things get heavy. This bag is the best I have seen. See ya.
