Vans Rowley Squares Skate Shoe - Men's
Since 1966 Vans has been putting shoes on the feet of skaters and surfers. Their canvas shoes with gum rubber soles gripped onto slick piers and skinny skate decks like nothing else before it. In short time their waffle pattern sole and colorful uppers became synonymous with southern California board riding culture. Throughout the '70s and '80s skatedecks grew bigger, surfboards got smaller, and music got louder. It was during these fast times that Vans solidified their reputation with legendary skateboarders and original punk rockers, Tony Alva and Steve Caballero. To this day, Vans shoes have been worn to more skate missions, mosh pits and surf breaks than any other.

The shoes were great, and my son liked them very much but they were too big (size 11 - he usually wears a 10-1/2 or 11) This is what happens when you try to surprise a 15-year-old guy with his own ideas. I also want to add that the quality of the product and services offered by this Web site is excellent. We have ordered a few things from you and have always been satisfied. We'll definitely be ordering from you again.

I just recently got my second pair of these shoes. Let me tell ya, they have AWESOME grip! Not only do they have immense grip, they look pretty darn cool too. I don't skate much anymore, so I got them for the looks. A must have for skating or even casual wear.

I've had these shoes before, and I'm tempted to get them again. I was amazed on how much grip they have. A must for hardcore skating!

Recieved the shoes awhile ago. they have good arch support which is rare in skate shoes. also i love the golden wheat color. on down side is for the first 2 times i wore them my achilles tendon got rubbed raw and hurt. but after that they are great. even for 12 hours of work at the hospital.

these shoes are awesome   02-18-08

these took me a few days to get used to, but now that i am, they are awesome. i've been skating almost every day in them for the past 3 weeks, and they show very little signs of wear. they are also supposedly vegan, which is a major plus since i am (although i doubt they're 100% vegan). these are way better than my previous pair, the transist by emerica.

When I bought these shoes I didn't realize Rowley's a vegan, so no leather. I guess I should have read the specs a little closer. The shoes are super stiff at first but once you break them in they're the most comfortable skate shoes I've worn, pretty good arch support too.
