Really nice boots super comfy although they are a little wide for her foot so the do allow the heal to slip a bit.

One of the comfiest womens boots on the market! Amazing support and they last forever! I previously rode the Lashed, but found they were too wide for my foot. The Velas fit a bit narrower and packed out to be absolutely perfect. These boots are great if you are charging everything from pow to park! Try them out!

So yea, when i first bought them they were impossible to put on, super tight fitting. got them heat molded, and while they were still a pain to put on, held my feet super tight and were comfortable. this will be my fourth season in my first pair...and i ride 'bout 100 days a season, and i'm still usin' em. bought a backup pair last year, just in case mine finally died, but they're still goin'. sure, they're not as stiff, but stiff enough, and i've got the option of adding the additional stiffener to the front should i need to. i make sure never to walk on pavement in them (every time your heel hits the ground, it softens your boot), and i guess i take pretty good care of my gear...the toe bit with "32" on it is starting to come off, but nothing a bit of shoe goo won't fix. i'm stoked about the ankle tightening bit on the newer models...can't wait to try that (it's on my backup boots that i haven't used yet)!

I've had these boots for a few months now and I love them... but at first, they were HELL to break in! I did get them a half size or so too small because I knew they'd pack out but WOW. The stiffness of the boot really killed me for the first month of so, but now I love them! No heel slippage, twisted ankles, nothin.

These boots are comfortable and warm. Looks good. When I first tried them on, they were tight so I could hardly push my feet in. Still it was wide for my feet and it was OK for snowboarding. After a few times, now they are way too big. If you want control I would not recommend these shoes.
