Sizes are big. I have a small and I would usually wear a medium. I like this parka because of the length. I'm tall and the Venture Jacket was not long enough. It is very confusing for both the jacket and the parka to have the Venture name.

I was out in the pouring rain all day today, and this jacked kept all the water out! It's nice because it's long enough that is covers even longer shirts, and can be cinched at the bottom for ultimate water protection (and to keep some heat in if it's cold). I ordered a medium even though I'm a size 4 and it fits nicely over a sweatshirt and my fleece jacket, so it's good for layering. Definitely recommend, especially for those in the Northwest!

Great Jacket! Couldn't beat the Price. If you are ordering definitely order a size down. The jackets run very big.

great jacke! i love it but it's certainly only a chell. make sure you order a size smaller than you think. i got an xl (which i generally wear and it was way too big).

I live in Seattle and have put this jacket to the test in the rain. I love that the hood is a great fit/shape and stays up on my head even when the jacket isn't zipped and the wind is blowing. This week I left my jacket in a puddle of rain water on some bleachers during my soccer game with all my other clothes and cel phone wrapped inside. After the game I picked it up, found all my items inside bone dry, shook the jacket off, and wore it home. What more could you ask for?! I listened to the advice of others posted here and got a smaller size than I would normally wear. It fits perfectly.
