| I am 24 years old, 5'2 and around 120-125lbs. I have the jacket in a girl's XL and to tell the truth I wish I had the L. The XL is a little too long length-wise. It is still a great jacket but I would definitely like it if it were a little shorter (like maybe hitting just below the hip or at the hip--now it hits more like a hooded sweatshirt or something and comes down below the butt).
But if you are buying for a teenager, they may not be done growing so the XL may be the way to go. But they also may be very lanky and it might eat them up! |

| I will start out by telling you that I thought the jacket was a little expensive for a fleece type coat, but, my daughter just had to have it!! She, of course had to have the green, which was a little difficult to find. She wanted the coat so much, she used some of her birthday money and paid for half the price of the coat!!!! She is 12 and not a big girl, and we first ordered an children's large....it fit but the sleeves were a little short, so check the sleeve length when ordering. We reordered the extra Large and She just loves and and now it will fit her in the Fall. |

The fit was slightly baggy but fine overall and the sleeve length was ok, too. she is very happy with the jacket and wears it almost everyday and says it is very warm. Would definitely recommend Backcountry to a friend. |

I told my friend and she bought the L child for her daughter and they are both thrilled with their Christmas presents. Also, I'm 5'8" and 145 pounds. I ordered the girls XL, which actually fit me better than the women's M. In the women's style, the body and arms of the jacket were too short. The girls' fits perfectly! |

| Love the jacket! I have a girls L - though i'm a 5'4" adult. Originally i went with the girls XL but found it be a bit more boxy in the shoulders than i like so called customer service and they had a new one in the mail to me for the same sale price (though it wasn't on sale any longer) and told me to return the XL separately and they would refund me but that way i recieved the preferred size quicker. A++ for customer service!! (I have since made 2 more purchases with back country and have experienced same great service every time! ) |

| I ordered a youth large for my 12 year old daughter who is 5'2" and 95 lbs. The body of the jacket was a good fit but the sleeves were too short. We did not exchange for the youth XL because we felt that the body would be too large even if the sleeves would fit properly. Otherwise we liked this item. |

| I bought this jacket for my 15 year old. The coat was soft, great price, however I purchased an XL since the size chart told me that was the correct size. This coat was huge! I bought her twin sister an adult XS and the coat fit perfect. Buying an XL is equal to an adult M. Also, the fit was not the same. The kids coat is different from the adult. It is Boxier, doesn't have the same features. I ended up buying another XS adult and keeping the XL for myself. Again..The price was GREAT. Coat would be perfect for kids who can't tell the difference. |

| My 11 year old daughter wanted this so bad, but I thought it was too expensive. I didn't realize that it is the fashion must have for middle schoolers! I came across it here at a closeout price that was too good to pass up! She wanted black and I bought her the large and it is perfect. She is not a very big girl, only weighs about 85 lbs (maybe) and the large fits her great with some room to grow. Ended up buying another one for my 10 year old and then broke down and even bought myself one. It is not waterproof and only wind resistant so we will have to see how it is when it gets really cold and wet here in the Northwest, but so far everybody is happy. |

When the girls had them on they said they loved the jacket and they fit perfectly. I did not give them a 5 star since we have not worn or washed the jackets. | As mentioned here, the kids sizes are boxy (i.e. big in the shoulders). I couldn't size down or the sleeves would be too short, so I sewed an extra seam on the inside of the top shoulder and that fixed the problem. I think North Face really needs to rethink the proportions for kids, however. |

| I am in between sizes in the women's Denali. The Medium fits in the chest, but the sleeves are way too long for me. The small fits in the sleeves, but the chest is way too tight. The girls XL fits great in the chest, and the arms are long enough for active (they fit an extended arm) but not too long. I was tempted to try the Large, but I know the hips wouldn't fit me as the Girls is a much boxier cut than the Women's. Even the XL is a tad tight on my hips, but I do have ample girth in that area :) |

| The GIRLS XL Denali has almost identical measurements to a Ladies SMALL. I bought it for my daughter when her XS ladies got too short in the sleeve. Great savings on the Girls vs the Ladies! Wish I'd known before I'd bought her other jackets! My daughter has 3 and wears them all day at school where the temperature is always frigid and they keep her equally warm in the outdoors. They are a wardrobe staple. |

| I actually loved the jacket, but it was the wrong color to suit my daughter, who is the person I bought it for. I have returned it (which was a very simple process) and ordered the correct color and I am looking forward to getting the new one. I only wish that I could have gotten the new one at the same price as the previous order. I got it for $66 (what a steal) and I have to pay $99 now to get another color. But I still love the product ! |

| I bought three jackets for my grandchildren. They loved the jackets and wear them all the time. It is such a nice feeling for a grandparent to be able to get them a gift they like and one that will get them out of the house away from the video games, ha! Backcountry is a very good company to buy from. The prices were reasonable, shipping was fast and free and they even credited my card when the price of one of the jackets was lowered. What company ever does that any more!
Just so North Face will know, one child was a bit concerned about the lack of a draw string at the bottom of the jacket. She said her old one had the draw string and she liked it better, but it wasn't a big deal to her and she still liked the new one. |

| The ordering process was a breeze and this jacket arrived super quick! Don't size up - this jacket runs a bit big. In fact, I usually wear a misses size 8 and I can get into my daughter's girl's size medium - the arms are too short for me though. Nice and warm. She got it on Christmas morning and hasn't taken it of yet.
