| I really like this jacket, mostly because it comes in a gorgeous blue color! So far I have only worn it in temperatures a bit above freezing - and it is very comfortable. My only gripe with the design is that there is no hood hidden in the collar. That would have made the jacket much more functional in colder or windy weather. |

| The Nuptse jacket is really amazing, it's super warm and lightweight. Great for wearing in really cold winters. The only thing is, if you're ordering from a country other than the US, check with customs first to see how much you'll be charged for the import. I got charged for 175 dollars (crazy isn't it?) but it was still worth it. |

| I loved my Nuptse jacket when I received it a month and a half ago. While the color was not exactly what I thought it would be, I really liked the jacket. It kept me warm in below zero temperatures. I wore it all of the time. Sadly, my jacket did not hold up to the washing instructions. A delicate cycle wash absolutely destroyed my jacket. The fabric was ripped and torn in several places. I am very upset as I really liked the jacket and am dismayed that the cleaning instructions were so wrong. Word to those of you who have purchased it, hand wash only!!! |

| This jacket is extremely warm. The fit is wonderful, not to mention how stylish it is. The only thing is pay close attention to the detail listed about the size. The jacket runs a little big, so buy the next size down which is what I had to do to have such a flattering fit. |

| Perfect for winter hiking. Folds down in a stow pocket and can be stuffed in a backpack if you get too warm. Nice and toasty on windy ridges or in front of a campfire. Very lightweight but warm. |

| Living in Florida, you don't have a very big selection of winter clothes. So, having planned a trip to Estes park Colorado this year at Christmas, I felt I needed to do something about it. One trip to backcountry.com and all my clothing needs were met. The men's and women's North Face Nuptse Jackets and matching hats where just the ticket when the thermometer was reading 5 below. | Hey, I own about 7 The North Face jackets: all different degrees of warmth for different climates, this jacket is absoltly beatiful and resilient. It also snaps into a waterproof shell (i recommend these!!). I get so many compliments. True to size...also wash it once before you wear it, the poofiness comes down. When it arrives it was very poofy and marshmellow-like, but after one wash/dry (follow the instructions on the label) it looks beautiful! |

| I actually purchased two of these within two months of each other in different colors because I loved it so much. I am always cold in winter and this jacket is one of the first jackets I have had that truly keeps me warm. I cannot say enough of this jacket. I was a lucky one to be able to find this jacket on this site in red because it is an old and discontinued color, don’t know why it looks so cute. If you want a lightweight jacket that you won’t even know you have on because it is so light that also keeps you amazingly warm and one that is a little more fitted then you will want this jacket. I do have to let you know that I wear a medium or a large with The North Face product and the large fit me better. The two jackets have a difference in sizing though. I ordered large in both sizes, but the red seems to have run a bit smaller, not a whole size but I can tell it is a bit more fitted than the black one. The collar fits nicely around the neck, length of jacket is mid hip, and the sleeve length is average length. This jacket can also be folded and stored within a built-in pocket on the coat and it can be packed very small. A+ |

| I love this coat. I live in Chicago and the winters can be pretty brutal. Even in early Spring, when I could wear a lighter coat, I choose to wear the Nuptse because it is incredibly comfortable. |

| I own the nuptse vest, but my wife wanted the full blown version. She always wanted one for the style so I bought her one. She is always cold, no matter how many layers she wears she always is complaining about being cold. Until this jacket came in the mail. She told me that this jacket is officially the first jacket that she has ever worn that she gets TOO hot in. Amazing, 11 years of her griping about the thermostat and all I had to do was buy this jacket. You ask my wife? She says this jacket is so good. You ask me? I say my ears are no longer ringing. |

| I have been looking at and longing for this jacket online for like ever, but never had the money to get it. But when I saw the color I wanted (diamond blue) only had one more left in my size, and it was 20% off, I jumped into action and used my moms credit card and am making payments to her. And jeez it is worth it! The outside of the jacket feels almost like silk, and the inside the same. I thought the coat would be big and bulky, and I'd look like Michelin Man, LOL but the shipping weight was only 1.7lbs!! It is so lightweight and the down is so soft and non-bulky, I swear it feels like your wearing nothing, except for the excellent warmth it provides. I would highly recommend this jacket. The only thing I don't like is that it's not waterproof. But I still give it 5 stars!! |

| I bought this jacket before I went to visit my in-law's in Connecticut for Thanksgiving. I am always cold and wanted something to keep me really warm. This jacket was perfect! It was shipped very quickly, so I had it in plenty of time. The color (green) was even prettier in person, and I was very pleased to see that it was a perfect size. I was a little worried about what size I should order because some people said it ran big and others said that it ran small. I am normally a medium, but I had a baby about six months ago so my size is a little bigger than usual. I ordered a medium anyway, and it fit perfectly. If you are a small medium in other clothes, I would definitely order a small. All in all, I am very pleased with this coat. It keeps me very warm and I think it looks really good on too. |

| This vest is awesome! The cut is great to a woman's body and is not bulky at all. I love it because I can zip it into my north face gore-tex shell jacket for added warmth when I go skiing or snowboarding. It's also great to wear by itself in the fall. |

| I've wanted one of these forever, and finally broke down and bought one this year. I couldn't be more pleased, and I wish I hadn't waited so long! This jacket is very lightweight and comfortable to wear, but extra toasty warm. I was skeptical about its warmth potential when I first tried it on because it's so light, but it keeps me warmer than bulkier jackets I've had in the past. The fleece inside the collar and hand pockets is so cozy and such a wonderful touch. The shape is fashionably puffy but not so much that I look roly-poly, and it is somewhat collapsible and shape-conforming. I found the sizing of this jacket to be generous. I usually have to size up in coats to accommodate my broad shoulders and the extra bulk of sweaters and layers underneath, but my regular size fit perfectly in this jacket. Even the length is just right for my long-torsoed self - just long enough to cover the top of my low-rise jeans when I sit. Props to great customer service, too. I loved this jacket so much that I bought one in a second color late in the season. Two weeks later, the color was discontinued and it went on sale. I contacted LiveHelp, and received a prompt refund for the price difference. Can't beat that! |

| I coveted this jacket for almost a year and I bought it right before the 2005 holiday season. It is very warm and of course totally stylie! It’s meant for around town and hanging out at the lodge, it’s not meant for snowboarding and a bit hard to clean. I use a natural cleaner on the sleeves and hang dry. It’s totally worth it. |

However, this year I weakened and while in the US bought one online, probably my wisest decision this year! Forget it keeps you warm, snug, and it's so light and comfortable. It's more about how good I feel when I'm wearing it, wherever. The Nuptse isn't just about outdoors, it's about attitude!! |
