When looking at these pants online you don't see the happy faces mixed in the the design and I did not read about it in the description. This is why I'm returning these pants.

These pants are super duper duper waterproof. I rode in blizzard conditions with these, and they were completely dry. After a 50 degree day at Mountain Creek in NJ, they were still perfectly dry. I also have never been cold in these pants either, although they are somewhat thin. If temperatures were in the low teens, I might wear liners under them. The only bad thing is that because they are so baggy and thin, the cuffs started tearing really quickly. Nothing a little duct tape can't fix ; )

Rode with these pants for three days about two weekends ago. Never felt moisture other than that produced through sweat or pow from a spill. I literally sat in the snow for about an hour, my ass was frozen; however it quickly thawed because no water was collected. I would recommend anyone who wants water proof protection combined with aggressive styling (ordered a small after ordering a medium due to bagginess 5'9" with 31W/31L) to get these pants. The ladies love them and Gore-Tex is amazing. Do it. Can I get some free stickers now?

These pants are baggier than i'm used to wearing, but they are actually really comfortable when on! I had no problems moving around. they blocked the wind, cold and wet perfectly! I highly recommend these. The have a soft liner (non insulated) and I wore a warm first layer under them. Awesome with lots of pockets to give you choices. Inseam vents are so much nicer than outseam vents too!
