| Based on some recommendations, I recently purchased the Full Metal Jackets. Up until now, I've never found earbud headphones that actually fit well since my ear canal is pretty small. Most of the time, earbuds are either uncomfortable or fall out with a slight tilt of the head. These were the complete opposite, and I couldn't be any happier. The fit is very snug and I would rate the sound quality 4 out of 5. While on long runs, these have yet to fall out. Best earbud purchase I've made yet. |

| These headphones have amazing bass response and crystal clear highs. I have always had an issue with earbuds hurting or backing out of my ears but not with these. They also come with 3 different size silicon earpieces. The smokin bud earbuds back out and the in line volume control is horrible. The one that comes with the full metal jacket is way more legit. |

| I can say I am satisfied with my purchase just because I got them at the blowout price of 30$. For 11mm drivers, I am slightly disappointed, the sound is decent but the lows definitely are not there. If paying the 70$ I would not buy these, I would go with the Shure e2c's instead. |

| These headphones rule. Period. They're super-sturdy, have awesome sound quality, go way louder than you'll probably need, and fit great. There are three different ear cups (small, medium, large) to choose from to get the best fit, and chances are you'll find one that will work. The only negatives are that the in-line volume slider gets in the way sometimes and they're a bit heavy if you like one-ear listening. Overall though, GET THESE. |

| I've gone through so many pairs of headphones looking for ones that block out the world of noise and let me hear that symbol and high hat with a supped up tempo. They work perfect for snowboarding because they hold in your ear even through a crash, and they're loud enough to block out working with a jackhammer all day at work. And the best part is their lifetime warranty. They started going out and they were replaced for free. I'll never use anything but Skullcandy. |

| These are great headphones. Sound is good and actually fits your ear. I got these cause i know a freind who has a pair (the dak grey with white cord). I bought the chrome and the there is no outside volume control and the cord is super stiff and just queer like. My friend's aren't like that and they have the volume control. I don't even know why skullcandy would make the chrome like they are. |

| I have been using these headphones while I ski and while I bike, and for an earbud they are very impressive. The in-the-ear style provides an unexpected bass sound while at the same time providing an awesome ability to tune out. There are only a couple things that I don't really like about them, the main one being that after having them in your ears for a couple of hours it can start to make your ears sore. I also have very narrow ear canals, but I use the smallest bud size... The other thing isn't so much about the headphones as the usage; I wouldn't recommend using them while riding your bike in the city. You can't really hear anything, and that includes cars coming towards you. |

| These buds are great for shutting out noise around you. When I bump these, all I hear is the music. The only minor problem is when the wires move, you hear it through the buds as a thud. If you hear that, just bust the tunes louder. Other than that, they stay snug in you external auditory meatus, just pop in the right size rubbers. Durability wise, they are awesome. Every pair of buds I get last me only a few months, but these have lasted me 6 months and running. |

| These headphones have amazing sound quality. It's very comfortable, and the choice of three sizes for the buds let me use a size that actually fits in my ear. My problem with them though is that the wire is of a strange material that has an odd flexibility and the parts around the volume control (which is amazing by the way) breaks easily. Also, when the wire hits things, or when I move around too much and it rubs against my clothes, the sound travels and I can hear it in the headphones which can get annoying. It's not enough to make me change them for something else though. |

| The Full Metal jackets Skullcandy's top of the line ear buds, and the certainly have earned the title, I used them for my first time out on the slopes today. I didn't even notice that i had them in my ears, great fit and awesome sound. Also works great when you do the old one ear in trick(safety first! lol), where as other earbuds fall out as soon as you turn your head.
If you love your tunes and are willing to pay a little more, these are the go! |

| These FMJ's are like directly injecting your dome with slaps, knocks,beats, or whatever you call 'em. I have bought 10+ pairs of earbuds in the past year or so and these are the new #1's in my opinion clownin the bose that I paid almost double the price for no joke. They are the most comfortable, best bump for the buck, inline volume control is nice and recponsive, and the cables dont feel as thin and cheap as others out there. Also noise cancellation is pretty good too. one love for nobody! |

But...they're f'ing cold when you first put them in if they've been sitting in your cold car all night...for some reason the cord transmits sound into the headphones / your ear as you move and it bumps against you/your shirt - because the volume adjustment thingy is somewhat heavy, it compounds this problem by swinging around and bouncing into your chest as you move.
Oh, and the purple ones are pictured as having a metal-looking wire. That's not the case in real life. The cord is white, just like all the other ones. |

| These buds are not what I expected. From all the reviews I was expecting sound quality and volume to be exceptional. They are not bad at all, but I have heard this much bass from 9mm drivers. Also, the casing is slightly bulky, which is fine unless you are trying to sleep on them or something like that.
All in all, not a bad headphone, but a little expensive for all the hype that I don't feel they live up to. |

Nice quality for a money warranty to back it up. they sound crystal clear, pop em in and you can't hear anything around you. differing shells to fit in different size ears, gotta love it dude. most of which they stay in, but sometimes fall out. maybe due to my back pack strap. im yet to see how they hold up hittin major air of tables on my skis, but so far i love em. |

| I do like the sound quality that these provide, but there are two things that drive me crazy. The cords have a rubbery coating that snags on anything and everything. It seems that even when I'm just casually walking around with them the cords will snag on my shirt and pull the ear buds out. It is really annoying and could easily be avoided with a more slippery coating.
The other problem is that the cords conduct sound. Like, a lot. If the cord bumps against something (as they do, unless you're sitting completely still) you hear it thudding in your head like a bass drum.
I didn't notice anyone else write about these two things. I can't believe I'm alone. |

The inline volume control is good too when you need to switch off the sound quickly for any type of interaction.
The only thing is that my ear canals are a bit small and so after a while, it kinda hurts a bit. But nothing major... |

| I love these earbuds. They have great sound and looks good but I've had 4 pairs in just over a year. After a couple months mine always get a short in the part that plugs into my iPod. The short is always in the same place and I loose sound in one earbud. Thank goodness for lifetime warranty. I just take them in and they replace them. But why I'm pissed is I took them in last week with the same problem and they were out of the color I had and wouldn't give me a different color because I bought them on sale. So now I'm listening to my music in one freaking ear! |

| I've been listening to my 11mm FMJ's for almost a year. They have been great for the most part. I'm no audiophile, but I do listen to a lot of music, and these have worked great for me when it came to sound quality. A lot of good bass if you shove them in your ear good enough. However, product quality has been another story. These have the inline volume controls, and although it sounds useful, this little device does more bad than good. The volume control literally throws off the output dB's. Meaning, the right ear bud is typically louder than the left, until I slide the inline volume slider to juuussst the right position, then it evens out. SO SO SO ANNOYING! At its worst, the right bud was at 100% volume and the left was at 15%. It's a good thing that these buds are made from metal, because I had to bounce them off the desk a couple times to get the left bud's sound back. Instead, I would buy Skull Candy buds withOUT the inline volume control. Returning these for replacement soon. |

| On sale at 25% off, good value for the price. I'm not an audiophile (though I do appreciate music) and I use these primarily in the office hooked up to a Mac listening to MP3s. Totally sufficient for that purpose. Offers good isolation of outside noise, so coworkers on conf calls don't bother you. Doesn't bleed so you don't bother your coworkers. I find them to be fairly loud, I had to turn the volume down a notch or two compared to my previous in ear phones. The cord is a good length, but kind of stiff. Definitely flashy, I have mag-red, which combined with the silver metallic coating on the cord, is hard to miss.
Overall they compare well to in ear phones costing more. Hopefully they are durable and last a while. |

| First off, I must say that I love the other skullcandy products I own. If I had to choose all over again, I wouldn't have gotten these. I got them from SAC or Whiskey, so the price wasn't so bad. I bought a pair of lowriders as well, and I have to say I like the lowriders more than these. They fit well, and keep the music isolated so i'm the only one hearing my headphones, but I expected better sound quality. They're loud, so volume isn't a problem, but they sound kind of muddy to me. Not what I expected for the MSRP on these things. I've got a friend that bought a pair of these. He also bought the titans at Ross for like 8 bucks. He likes the titans better than his FMJ's. Overall, if you want a pair of headphones that are loud without a huge amount of distortion, and you aren't much of an audiophile, these are perfect. If you score them at a cheaper price. |

| anyone that says they should be cheaper, or that they break easily. you should know that they have a lifetime warantee. no matter how they break, or how you break them, they will still be covered under warantee. so even if you pay 80 for them your buying headphones for the rest of your life. other sets may last 5 months tops, then you buy a new pair. so your saving money in the end if you think about it. |

| I have tried several different sets of headphones, with no luck. I absolutely hate the foam padded pieces that you have to squeeze with the other brand headphones, they kept falling out, etc.
After reading so many positive reviews here I put the FMJ's on my x-mas list. My wife snagged them on Whiskeymilitia for a good price, and I am loving them. They fit well, sound well, and have the volume adjuster on the wire which is a bonus, along with the case. |

| These earbuds stay put for sure. I like that they come with 3 different sizes so you can find your best fit. I found that they also cut out a lot of the noise around you.
When walking/running with these earbuds I find that they make noise when the cord moves around or hits something. It's kind of a rumbling sound. I personally find this a bit annoying, but maybe I need to get use to it or secure the cord better!?

| I paid about $30 for these. I used them maybe once on my bike and it did not work out well. The actual cord is made out of super grippy rubber or something so anytime anything, such as your clothes or skin rubs up against it it pulls them right out of your ears. Not to mention the volume adjuster is very heavy and always pulling down. I ended up using them for listening to music at my desk and they only lasted about 3 months. I was pleased with the sound quality, and the comfort in my ears was not bad. But the heavy metal used and sticky wire cause them to get yanked out of your ears and eventually being to short out where they connect to the ear bud. The durability on these are VERY bad. Especially for the price. Not impressed |

| I scored them off SteepandCheap.com, so for $30 you really can't go wrong. However, I've seen some reviews (Amazon) that compare these to some of the cheaper Shure models. Make no mistake, these are NOT up to the level of Shure E2C. I have the 11mm, and they offer more bass than the E2C, which isn't exactly my taste.
Regardless, I've been VERY happy with the purchase for headphones to keep at work.
One note: the in-line volume piece is susceptible to "sweat damage" if you wear them under your shirt while running. |
