Amazingly comfortable jacket. The leather keeps the biting Canadian wind off of you and the duck down and satin interior keep you super warm. I can walk outside for hours in -20' C wearing this. And, it looks killer.

seems warm, but jacket's got issues   08-12-08

First off - even with the chest and arm pit "vents" open, the jacket is incredibly warm! Probably just me, but the jacket was a little over the top... the white leather version isn't this is a style-only jacket that means no skiing or snowboarding in this thing. no pow skirt, no mesh over the vents, no technical features whatsoever... so,make sure that you're buying this for your commute or late night activities, and pick up a different 686 jacket for your on-hill life

I purchased the 686 ARD down leather 3 years ago in black leather and have never had a better or warmer coat. When I contemplated life without my 686, trembling fear overtook me so I ordered the crock, and 686 outdid themselves. My only complaint is that the two coats consist of one cow, two crocks and 100 Canadian honkers, enough with the fake fur, do us all a favor and kill a coyote already. The PETA crowd will probably pass either way.

Hey I live in Frigid Canada, with average temperatures of -20 in the winter time, I needed the real stuff! Was skeptical about ordering online since I was not sure of the measurement for a big guy like me, but I took a chance and it paid off. I am the envy of all my friends, Yes...I am on Top of the world when I wear this jacket! Guys buy it!! The jacket is SO WARM that I go outside and do snow angels on -30 degrees with nothing but a 50 CENT STYLE wife-Beater on, and I laugh straight at the cold! So guess what, I purchased 2 ARD jackets and some Burton Gloves... I recommend this jacket to anybody who want to look cool,unique, warm when it is cold and fresh by unzipping the vents when you get inside! THIS JACKET IS THE BOMB! I would not mind being in a commercial...

Dis is da shiz. Leather, down, and faux fur. Bring on freezing cold winter. Pit zips and front vent zip are sooo key...if you got serious style check in if not take off.
