I was looking for a good all-around resort ski, and tried about 5 different skiis. These were hands down the best- stable at speed, they would sink in their teeth when you needed it in the steeps, not squirreley maching down corduroy, and still nimble enough to dart between moguls. I wound up using them on a 2 day catskiing trip, and they were grreat in powder, too; of course most skiis are good in hero snow. In manky springtime backcountry crud, I'd probably use a much fatter ski, but in any other conditions, I'd be happy with these.

Snatch these pigs up before they go! at the price - these skis provide the ultimate 1 quiver ski. just got back from 20+ inch Colorado day and these pigs out performed my wildest expectations. The fat shovel and mid fat was provided for enough float that made the day killer. However, I knew it would be a long lasting relationship when after lunch when everything was turning into chop chop these guys stepped up their game and brought in the choppiest of conditions. One warning YOU better be on your A Game as these are not skis for sally's and they are not name the Punishers for no reason.

Searched a lot for skis before buying these. And they are just what I was hoping for. Very stable, especially coming out of the air. Will handle any condition, except the REALLY deep stuff (get some line Prophet 130s for that). And they may be a bit stiff and heavy for a great mogul ski. In fact, if they have a drawback, it's the weight. But they are great everywhere else. They're my go to ski and I do love them. Any questions, just ask...

| So I have recently become a Scott skis Fanboy. I'll admit it and I'm not ashamed. I first slapped on the Scott P4's and was converted back to skiing from snowboarding. They were incredible in pow, crud, groomers and even did ok in the moguls. I loved the damp feel in the chop. So I started neglecting my Rossignol S3's for those All-mountain kind of days. I decided to upgrade.
I got these 191's in late spring '09 so I haven't skied them yet in the fluff but they've done great in the heavy pow. Also, I should mention they are really stable at high speeds. My Rossi's got wicked speed wobble. They also have a lot of sidecut which helps in the moguls, groomers etc. Really fast edge to edge. They are softer than the P4's due to the wood core so the are a lot of fun on kickers.
I put some Marker Dukes on these with the intent to do some touring in the Fall. I'm told they are great in the pow due to the generous shovel width but I can't verify that yet. Fun ski though. They have been my ski of choice for the rest of the spring/summer season. |

These skis are sick. Hands down one of the best skis i have skied. They float in the deepest of pow, they carve it up on the groomers, and throws down in the park. I like riding switch in practically every condition and these skis can shred it up like nothin.

I've been riding the punisher 182's since the end of the 07-08 season and they have been great in all conditions I've been able to throw at them. They perform great in 26+ inches of fresh for deeps, good floating. Then hitting the groomers on the way back to the lift, they hold and edge well while carving. Good flex means nice landings in the park and skiing switch is a breeze. However, the top sheet seems kind of fragile, with it starting to peel off on the back of one of the skis. Not a huge deal since the core and base seem fine for all the dumb stuff I've thrown at it. Not sure what caused it, but other than that minor issue, these have been great planks. Get some.

So what? These skis are great in a wide variety of conditions. I skied them a couple of weeks ago in conditions from hardpack, to 4" of manmade, through a 12" dump and the resultant east coast pow. They rock in all conditions. I especially liked them in the trees and on big bumps. They plow through crud like it's not even there. I got the 191's and they ski pretty short. I just wanted the sidest wais possible...

Only skied these on one trip to Jackson Hole so far, but they did not disappoint. Had some deep pow on the first day and for an 89 mm waist these were surprisingly floaty. This ski is pretty much an all out stud anywhere on the mountain. Not the best for hardpack and groomers, but they still exceeded my expectations. I only ski twice a year so multiple pairs of skis for varying conditions were not an option for me. I would recommend these for anyone who loves to keep to the pow, steeps, and trees but doesn't mind the occasional groomer and needs a do everything ski.

These skis can handle anything. I don't really ride switch that often. That said these skis can stomp anything from waist deep powder in the trees to the double blacks at Jackson Hole. I've heard their not for the deepest powder, but I've had no problems. I was the most surprised by their ability on hard pack. Basically: If your looking for an awesome all mountain ski, look no further. This ski will take you everywhere you need to be!

Skied these twice in Michigan, once on corduory, once on hardpack with freezing rain. Under both conditions, they held extremely well. I was able to hold lines with my brother who was on race stock skis. I was very surprised how well they held on ice. The only thing I noticed was my bindings needed to be set a little higher than normal. Not a problem, but good to know.
