Well I bought these shorts and when I got them I thought they were kick ass. The 2nd time I wore them, I noticed the seam on the back(right down the middle) was not ripping, but beginning to stretch and thin out(this was extremely disappointing). The 2rd time I wore them, the button popped off,and the 4th time I wore them, the clip popped off and the back seam ripped. I know what you're thinking, it was probably a size to small. But it's really the opposite. I bought a 34inch waist, but I really have a 32inch waist and wear a belt. The shorts were lose and never tight and it just fell apart. I love RVCA shirts, but I'll never purchase another pair of shorts from them again.

Pretty disappointed in the fact that the black checkered area of the shorts faded big time after only 2 trips to the pool and 1 to the beach. Just be prepared for the fade.

I am a huge RVCA fan and love the look and feel of these shorts. Loved them so much I bought them and the matching RVCA Railroad Pants in both colors. This is why it pained me so to notice that they were falling apart after just one wash (on the extra gentle wash cycle, no less). Actually, before I could even get them into the wash, both pairs of shorts and one pair of the pants lost their inner waist fly button. The buttons just literally fell off. Worse yet, the seat seams on all were seriously splitting apart after that first wash. Sadly, I had to return them all. Verdict: Great style, the worst quality imaginable. Kudos to this site for an easy return policy!

When I got these shorts, I was psyched. The fabric feels AMAZINGLY soft and is very light (perfect for my SoCal weather). But it sucks because after the first washing, the first metal clasp came out. I decided to wear them with just the button, and after the second wash, the button ripped out in the wash. For the money I paid for them, I shouldn't have to worry about simple things like this. I have had more durable shorts from Wal-Mart.
