I love my Reef flip-flops. I bought this pair because my dog ate my first pair (which I had owned for at least 3 years). I'm still breaking them in right now, but they're just as comfortable as my last pair and this site made the ordering process really quick and easy.

Reef Contour Smoothy Sandal - Men's 09-27-07

There is no other pair of flip-flops that compare to reefs! They are the most comfortable pair I've ever owned and for a great deal. If you already have a pair then you know what I'm talking about. If you don't have a pair already, you're missing out.

The flip flops I've been looking for all my life 10-28-09

Thick firm sole, but a very soft texture on the bottom of your feet. No lame-o designs -- just basic black. So far, so good; heading to Central America in 2 wks; will update if they fall apart!

I have had all kinds of sandals and I always come back to Reefs, stupid of me to buy anything else. They are like walking on clouds, or your mama's fat belly.

I have had a love affair with these sandals going on 9 years now. Almost every summer I buy a new pair of the exact same ones and wear them out completely in a few months. Not that they wear out fast, I just do everything in them including walking all over Europe, Argentina, Vegas, or a few miles on the trail even. They mold to your foot and are incredibly comfortable and easy on the knees and feet. They will wear off into your skin and turn your feet black and they do get really slippery in the rain but who cares. My old ones I still wear for gardening or painting the house. I can't find the smoothies in women's anymore so I buy mens. I wear an 8-8.5 and the size 7 is perfect. So here's to another year and another pair of fabulous reefs.

Not as comfy as Teva Mush, but good 04-29-09

As far as squishy flips, the Teva Mush is still the best IMO, but these aren't bad. The density of the foam is higher than the Teva's so they don't squish out as quickly which translates into a longer break-in period for the Smoothy's. These are also narrower than the Teva's.

For those who love to go barefoot but can't due to painful foot problems - these sandals are a blessing. I wear them all day. I've tried all the expensive sandals and they don't compare in comfort to Reef.

These sandal's are the best. I've had mine since 1998 and they're still in great condition. I wear them every summer, all summer long; and occasionally around the house. I take them camping, on rivers and in the lake. If you're looking for a durable sandal, these are it.

good for ugly feet 10-04-08

I have really problem feet (like 13AAA) with more than flat feet. I need to wear expensive arch supports most of the time, but these sandalas are a great relief to slip into in hot weather and just to slouch around in. My feet are so skinny that the straps were loose. But I just sewed a few stitches and they are now fine. It was worth using the internet rather than going to any old store for a cheezy pair. Thanks a lot. John Gorman

I live in these sandals. If I lived in a place without winter I would probably literally never go a day without them. They mold perfectly to your feet and the straps don't rub uncomfortably like other flip flops. These are the only shoes that I can walk around in all day in the city and still feel great at the end of the day. I love these shoes!!!!

Best sandals I ever owned 06-24-07

| I've had mine for about 4 months now, and have loved every day of it. True, you can get cheaper sandals elsewhere, but I firmly believe you get what you pay for, and these sandals by Reef are no exception.
They break in fast, with no discomfort or chafing. The foot beds quickly mold to your feet - creating a perfect fit - in about 4 days of normal use. I discovered that they tend to run a little large in sizing, but this in no way detracts from comfort or wear-abilty. They are easy to clean, and resist odors well.
I've worn mine all over Europe and most of Asia in the four months since I've bought them, and they've attracted positive comments everywhere I've gone - something a sandal seldom does. |

Very expensive sandal. Not a huge difference between the $30 sandals that Reef is selling compared to the $10 ones.
