| I already have a Hi-Fi and am thoroughly convinced its the best helmet ever, warm, comfortable, and lots of coverage. I already have the skullcrusher headphones and they are the best headphones ever made my man, big booming bass and clear highs and mids. Why did it take me so long to get this perfect fusion? I have no clue
there are some problems however, this is the redesigned Hi-Fi, it looks but does not feel or fit like previous years!...thats important people, because the fit is significantly smaller, about a half size (so if you are between sizes or plan on wearing a beanie under then order a size up), it also fits a lot narrower than pervious Hi-Fis
another problem that results form this is that the subwoofer earpads are NOT BACKWARDS COMPATIBLE with previous years hi-fis, which sucks because thats what I got it for!!! ahhhhhh!
but now for the good parts; improvements from last years hi fi are that the earpads are much easier to remove, the brow doesnt go as ridiculously far down your forehead so I cant fit more goggles (larger goggles), and I feel it fits better...as for the subwoofer, is amazing, sound is so great and theres a 2 stage mute button!...put a little pressure on it to mute the sound till you release it, or press it down all the way to mute the music completely and then press it again to get your tunes back. that will be so nice for the lift rides volume control does not work and both cannot be operated effectively with gloves on. the earpads are also surprisingly comfortable.
the original Hi-Fi was perfect, now with a few tweaks its even more perfect, grab one to rattle your ears and protect your dome and you wont be sorry
(p.s. black color is matte black not polished as the picture shows) |

| Sound is great, so is the fit, I think i have an average size head, small was my size and the size chart was spot on for me although I did get to try one on b4 i ordered mine. now my only issue is my oakley wisdoms are too large to work but the crowbars i ordered should be fine, but thats on the goggles not the brain bucket, its cool cuz i can hear my tunes as well as i can ask and i feel a bit safer from little meat torpedos and my not so rare spills in the park |

| This helmet is great... it has great sound. Be warned everyone else can hear it too. Sometimes the earpads hurt my ears in cold weather due to the hard plastic speakers and that is why this deserves 4 stars instead of 5. |

| This is a decent helmet. It's warm and comfortable, and the earphones sound pretty good.... but the whole music setup could have been designed much better. Here's what I didn't like:
1) The button on the left side doesn't pause the music it just mutes - so when you're talking to your buddy on the lift you're wasting battery playing music when you're not listening to it.
2) I wear mitts and I had a hell of a time trying to hit the volume and mute buttons with them on. Not really the helmet's fault I guess..but just a heads up.
3) The headphones can't be connected to anything unless you have the subwoofer thing attached first because it uses a special jack between the earphones and the helmet. During the day the weight of the subwoofer piece would keep causing the jack to disconnect.
4) Two days running I forgot to take the subwoofer part out of one jacket and put it in the other and I couldn't listen to any tunes all day. I've got enough stuff to carry around without wanting to worry about some little piece of plastic.
All in all I wish I'd just bought the regular helmet without the "Subwoofer System" and got some in-ear earphones with a little remote attached. I just seem to be spending too much time tooling around with this helmet for it to be worthwhile.

| Very good quality helmet. Bought this because of sub-woofer sound system. Good sound quality, sub is OK. Adding quite noticeable vibe to the head, quite loud. Can be used without battery (in case discharged). So far the best helmet I had. Overall very good helmet with very good sound. |

| This helmet is great. The buttons do take a little getting used to, but you can definitely operate them with a glove. Yes you can only mute and not pause, but it's better than digging in your jacket pocket to pull out your ipod. As for the subwoofer piece, I have no problem with it falling off, because I put it in the pocket with my ipod. If you can't remember to take it with you it's not the helmet's fault. And the subwoofer is cool, sort of rattles the back of your neck with the bassline. |

| This helmet actually looks good compared to many other bowling balls people wear on their heads. This helmet would also protect you in a major wipe-out as well. The audio quality is very nice! I have no cons for this helmet! |

| The sound on this helmet is super awesome. The sub woofer is a very nice addition and the mute/volume keys are ver convenient. The one downfall is this helmet is way big. It is very lite but when getting in and out of a full gondola your head feels huge. I would recommend checking this helmet out in person before purchasing to make sure you are ok with the size. |
