The helmet works great at keeping my head warm. I have yet to truly test it out by smacking my head so I can't exactly report on that. The M2 system is a great addition and keeps the helmet snuggly on my noggen. The closing vents are nice. One complaint would be that not all vents close--and on a cold windy day, an extra layer under it is needed.

The ordered the helmet in medium. It is very wide and makes your head look huge and fat. I am returing the item. I recommend Bern helmets instead.

OK, so I don't look like a Euro speedracer. I wanted a helmet that fit just snug everywhere, but not tight. It doesn't rattle or slide about on rough MTB tracks. I think I might opt for goggles, since my Bolle sunglasses a pushed down by the helmet, giving me Yoda ears...but that's because the helmet is actually protecting my noggin! (and maybe because I actually have Yoda ears)

It is very nice helmet and it fits well. The white color on the slope does not look like regular white but like little blue ice or purple ice. My friends told me that they could see me on the slope very easily because of very bright color of my helmet. Besides nice color it is very comfortable. I would recommend this helmet.

Bought this after I got a concussion trying to go off a jump..The helmet is very light weight and didn't bother me at all while I was riding. Didn't obstruct my view or mobility at all. It kept my head warm but didn't make me too hot or anything. I didn't think I would like wearing a helmet, but after trying it I definitely changed my mind :) Great helmet!
