Ride RX Snowboard Binding
Ride Snowboards hit the market in 1992 with four board models and a vision of building snowboards “for the people”. Originally based in Redmond WA, Ride proved its commitment to snowboarding by signing top pros and like Mikey LeBlanc, Hana Beaman, and JJ Thomas. After launching Cappel Clothing in 1994 and relocating to Preston, WA in 1995, Ride dropped Preston Bindings (later to become Ride Bindings and Ride Boots Ride Boots on the market. Ride is currently based in Seattle WA, and continues to develop revolutionary technologies and styles while staying true to its original vision of “selling the dream”.

3 years and still killin it   04-06-09

Been riding these for 3 years and havent needed new bindings, need say more? ok i will anyway. they are juist mid weight, not super light or heavy...response is good, but stil flexible enough to butter the crap outta them. comfort could use some work, ankle strap is thin and hard, and toe strap is just a mess. toe strap is uncomfortable, pinches both sides of tow box, and falls off...shock padding is nice tho, no complaints on that...other gripes are the bad ratchets, go tight but strip easy, and when they are tight they are really hard to get off. BOTTOM LINE: is that they arent perfect, but they WORK!...they do the job for under 200 bucks, cant ask for much more

Nice and Tight   02-02-09

Got these bindings at a discount which make them even sweeter. The first time I strapped into them, I was shocked by the comfort and support they provided. I use an XL and the high back gives me the perfect support and leverage for tight carves on my heel edge and the extending toe plate for my toes edge. The response is solid, but not too hard. The extra padding on the toe plate make landings enjoyable as I have had my knees reconstructed several times over the last 4 years. I rode hard for 4 days in a row on these bindings hitting the park, pipe, powder, and chord, and I have to say that my knees felt great with the extra padding. The only downfall that comes to mind regarding these bindings is that during 7ft+ landings the bindings did feel slightly too stiff. The straps distribute the pressure across your boots evenly for a snug fit and the convertible toe strap rivals Burton's toecap.

Rock solid!   02-18-09

I have only ridden these bindings on four trips to the hill, but they are way mo' betta than my last set! They have great support without the concrete feel and the high back is great and gives you a lot of options. They are comfortable enough to ride day after day on while strong enough to handle whatever you throw at em. Doesn't hurt that the red ones I got look dope on my board either! Highly recommended!

Solid binders. For sure straps need work. A all the way toe strap would be nice No breakage though good price. I don't know if I would go with ride again though

Solid   08-04-09

I've been riding these for 3 seasons now, and they have never failed me. I originally went in for a set of cheapies, because I was just making the transition into intermediate riding, but since I am 6'-4" and 225 lbs., the guy at the store recommended I go with something with an aluminum base instead of the poly. That being said, they're great for tearing down the mountain at neck-breaking speed, quick adjustments and rapid input transfer -- but definitely stiff for rails and landing 20-footers, although I would feel confident that they wouldn't bust on me if I did. If you're a hoss like me, then get 'em. If you're smaller and/or park rat, go for something softer.

Solid Binding   04-24-09

Pretty simple...gets the job done...well built. Exactly what I want in a binding. Nothing crazy but that's a good thing. Great all around binders from the park to the pow. The Ride buckles threw me off a bit, no big deal.

Awesome Bindings   04-01-09

I purchased Ride bindings for the first time and fell in love. These bindings look great, feel great, and ride great. The only gripe I have with them is the toe extender is one piece with the toe strap and the screws loosen throughout the day. Making the extender slide back I dont notice it much but its annoying.

crap i messed up   03-06-09
ylue&bellow (65): rating
there were lots of spelling mistakes in that review, sorry...my keyboard has keys that dont always work...but it actually changed my message in the bottom line...let me redo:...................ok so in all my rambling it seems like ive had nothing but complaints, but they actually are good bindings, im very critical of products but these are just littered with very minor problems, any REAL problems and i would not have put up with them for 3 years...these are great if you dont want to spend 300 on bindings and just want something that will do the job

You are correct they are easy to tighten and release, but if you haven't rode them why would you rate them.
