Originally based in Redmond WA, Ride proved its commitment to snowboarding by signing top pros and like Mikey LeBlanc, Hana Beaman, and JJ Thomas. After launching Cappel Clothing in 1994 and relocating to Preston, WA in 1995, Ride dropped Preston Bindings (later to become Ride Bindings and Ride Boots Ride Boots on the market. Ride is currently based in Seattle WA, and continues to develop revolutionary technologies and styles while staying true to its original vision of “selling the dream”.

Light, Responsive & Comfortable   09-27-07
Mr. Tidbit (89): rating
This binding kills everything on the mountain. I was lucky enough to Ride this binding back in February and I didn't want to give it back. Ride has streamlined the high back even more, They have milled it out making it even lighter yet kept it super responsive. The straps are great, the ankle strap is still as bomb proof and comfortable as last years, loaded with gel for extra comfort. Ride has added the new Gel grid convertible toe strap. You can put this strap anywhere on your toe you want and it will stay, even if you are riding through powder and snow gets under your toe strap it gets squeezed at through the grid and your strap stays in place. The base of the binding is light weight and now has polyurethane on the bottom and sides (rollbars) to help with even more dampening and feel, same materials slimewalls are made out of. You will love this binding if you ride everywhere on the mountain and want the lightest, most comfort and response available on the market for your bindings.

These are really bindings...amazingly light ..usually comfort is comped every time u try to go this skinny but these bindings are extremely comfy. I usually ride whistler blackcomb 90% of the time and kick it over all types of terrain from park to backcountry and i couldn't ask for anything more! Get em!!!
