| Pretty Great Vest 01-08-09 |

| Great vest, very warm, only issue is the pockets. They are very deep, but they aren't in the least bit warm. They are out side the insulation and only the shell is there to protect you from the cold. |

| I really didn't like the looks of this vest when I put it on. It just looks blah with the smooth surface front. The fit is also designed for someone who is flat chested, the armholes a little bit big.
I have always liked poly fibers for backpacking and outdoor wear, since they forgive getting wet a lot more than down, but I do have to admit, the down is so much warmer, unless you need the security of poly fibers I would recommend the down. However, the prices is really good and it would make a fine working vest for out in the yard. |

| The only reason I give it 4 is it was a replacement for an REI primaloft that was superior in that the collar was not as heavily insulated; it would lay flat (and it was a little bit lighter). I climbed and caved in the darn thing and would wash it and wear it to work!
Had I not been spoiled by my first little black vest I probably would have given this one five stars.
The fit is good and true to the sizing chart - not too big. And it is SNUGGLY, let me tell you. Great for heavily air conditioned areas / warehouses / outdoor work. Really keeps your core warm, and it's about the lightest one out there. Good inside pocket as well as deep outside pockets as well. Nice design, quality needle work. |

| I was hoping to get the jacket and instead decided to get the vest. I am so happy I did because it is the perfect thing for spring weather. I am amazed at how light it is, yet when I put it on, it really does have good warmth to it. I got the leaf color, which is vibrant and cheerful (and the zipper isn't yellow, it just looks like that in the picture). For some reason, I tend to wear a small in Patagonia outerwear (even though I wear a medium for all of their other clothing). I guess if you like things a little on the form-fitting size, go down a size, and if you like plenty of room get your normal size. |

| Wow, it's hardly been off my back! It arrived just
before a trip to the Pacific Northwest. I wore it the whole time I was there. It went through the
birth of 19 lambs. They thought it was soft and cuddly too, Almost like Mom. It's light and easy to pack, and I love the Vest idea rather than the whole jacket. Good pockets especially the one
inside for chapstick, bucks and plastic. Back to
FL for a three day outdoor field trip (yes FL). It
kept me toasty warm, great for the wind chill. I
went through several sizes to get it right. They
run small. It was a gift from my daughter, Krista,
who was so afraid I'd freeze on my trip. She's always right on. It's at the Ready for the next Big One. I got Black-stunning!

| I have the Patagonia down vest and love the fit (a bit shorter and trimmer than most vests) and wanted a vest in the awesome "leaf" green color so I gave this vest a try. The fit is much longer and looser - completely different. More matronly, for lack of a better term. Felt I could have gone down a size. And I think I would like the look more if the quilting was visible on the outside. A nice vest, super lightweight, great color, but, alas, not for me. |
