These shoes are every bit as great as described. They're snug in the heel and arch, and roomy in the toes, even going downhill. The cushioning is remarkable—very springy, even under the forefoot, which feels great on those pounding downhills. The shoes are well ventilated: mesh in the toes as well as along the sides. A great trail running shoe with a fantastic fit.

I love these shoes for trail running. They fit a little wide, which I like. They have a very roomy toe box and are super cushiony. They also breathe really well and keep your feet cool.

I bought one pair of the Montrail Continental Divide shoes, wore them around the house for a day then hit the trail and I didn't want to take them off. I liked them so much that I bought 2 more pairs...one for alternate running days and the other as a casual pair. Great shoes!

I went running in these shoes without wearing them around much and they were great! My feet did not hurt at all. I have narrow feet and they fit great.

This shoe was not as good as I expected it to be. The look is okay - not bad except for the turquoise-ish color, which I don't like so much. The construction is very sturdy, but the little details disappoint. After a couple of runs, the little grips on the sole started falling off. Dirt gets stuck between the lugs and makes a big mess when I return indoors. What bothers me the most is the ventilation material - it is very thick and does not breathe easily at all. Maybe this would work as a cold-weather shoe on sturdy ground.

I bought these shoes not even a year ago and they are falling apart already and I don't even trail run. They will never beat out any North Face Shoes I have owned. They are just ok. Sloppy craftsmanship.

Everything I've read about these shoes is true. Nice snug heel, roomy toebox, low to the ground feel, and great tread. Good stone plate, too. A little rough feeling on the inside, but I have wimpy feet.

I love them. They run to size. VERY well padded. I can walk on ice/packed snow and not slip. They are my favorite shoe so far! They came with two sets of laces in case I didn't like the contrasting yellow, too! You can tell these are a quality shoe upon close examination, too.

These shoes are great! Wide toe box, snug heel, overall very comfortable. I've run many miles in my old ones and have now purchased two more pairs to train and race in.

These are the best trail runners I have ever owned. I bought them right before a trail running trip, and they were comfortable from day 1, even on a 20-mile run. They have a roomy toe box, a snug heel, and are totally non-slip both inside and out. The tread is excellent, it feels like having super-glue on your feet going over technical terrain because the shoes never slide. They are a little heavy, but worth it. My only gripe is how fast the outer lining broke down--I am hard on shoes, but I wore a hole in the sides of both shoes after 2 weeks.

| It usually takes me forever to find shoes that fit. They either put pressure on my arch or are too narrow in the toe. I didn't have a lot of luck in the last two years until I found the Montrail Continental Divides. After wearing them for a month or so I decided to get another pair, cause it doesn't get much better than this. I just wouldn't recommend them for wet conditions, because water gets in very easily.
Great fit, great cushioning, great stability and they look good, too! |

Not such a great deal... spend the money and get a good pair of shoes, these ones kill your toes on any downhill hike.
