| I absolutely love love love these trail runners. They kill it in any terrain I've put them up to and carried me through snow, ice, rock, mud, you name it (and usually all in one run). Super sturdy and great grip plus super comfy, no break-in required. The support they provide gave me a big boost in confidence on the more technical trails. I would definitely recommend these! |

| I was so tired of starring at her bald Nike Shox I had to get her some new kicks. She LOVES the Montrails and won't take them off. She runs 5-6 miles. Great arch support and they look good too. We'll see how they smell in a couple months :) |

| My local outdoor store was out of my size but highly recommended montrail shoes. I am soo satisfied! 5 hours on the trail proved the shoes have excellent support, stability, and placement on most any terrain. The mesh breathes very well too, and the shock absorption is fantastic.
On suggestion (locally and online) I ordered a 1/2 size larger than my usual 8, and after breaking them in (quite thoroughly!) wished I'd gone with the usual. As a result of the extra room, my ankle bone has a tendency to rub and bruise against the upper rim of the shoe, but as I've broken them in and adjusted the laces a bit, the fit has improved vastly.
Love the shoe, just wish I hadn't been sooo excited to try them outside so I could've exchanged.
Note to buyer: The company was taken over by columbia, and product lines 'revamped'...apparently the new columbia montrails are quite inferior. Something worth checking, if you've bothered to read reviews in the 1st place.
Info came per my local store...I followed up with this link
and this one .
I still love my new shoes:) |

| I've worn these Montrails only 5 times for my 10 mile walks and I'm a convert. Had to get a whole size up from my 8.5 street shoe, but the 9.5 are great! I'm a 5'7" 59 year old gal who used to run but gave it up for long power walks. Now I go through shoes pretty fast and the extra stability of trail runner shoes is just what I need for my walking. I recommend them for us big gals! |

| ...Supportive, great stability, comfortable, breathable, stylish, wide toe box, snug heal -- having bad arches, they're great for a run in the hills, or a quick workout at the gym. I have to say, they're a very satisfying running shoe. Very similiar to the Hurricane Ridge XCR Trail runner --- just Gor-tex free. I kid my boyfriend, they're nearly as satisfying as he... |

| I'm pretty satisfied with these trail running shoes. The first pair I ordered though was a half size too small (but my regular running shoe size ... womens 9). I wore them for a 25K and decided afterwards that my feet could use a bit more room. I thought there might be a problem with returning used shoes. You know what?? None whatsoever. I returned these for a womens 9.5 quickly with no problems whatsoever.
These shoes are really sturdy trail running shoes, though it takes a bit to get used to the weight. I found that because they're built for kick-butt trails, the weight of the shoe allows for extreme accuracy in foot placement without a thought of slippage.

| I bought these after the Nitrus shoes disintegrated after a couple of months. The Continental Divide shoes were more comfortable right from the start. Unfortunately they didn't last either. I'm still finding bits of tread all over the place. The mesh or whatever that is also cracked and has holes after only 2 months. I am hard on shoes cause 100% of my runs and races are on trails and in the mountains. But, all the same, I'm done with Montrail. Switched back to Adidas (Supernova Riots). I've had great luck with Adidas trail shoes! |

| These are the first pair of trail runners I have owned, and so far I'm very happy with them. The grip is awesome, I've had to run alot in mud so far this summer and have never slipped at all. I don't think I need to try other shoes out - lucked out finding these! |

| I went running in these shoes without wearing them around much and they were great! My feet did not hurt at all. I have narrow feet and they fit great. |

| This shoe was not as good as I expected it to be. The look is okay - not bad except for the turquoise-ish color, which I don't like so much. The construction is very sturdy, but the little details disappoint. After a couple of runs, the little grips on the sole started falling off. Dirt gets stuck between the lugs and makes a big mess when I return indoors. What bothers me the most is the ventilation material - it is very thick and does not breathe easily at all. Maybe this would work as a cold-weather shoe on sturdy ground. |

| I bought these shoes not even a year ago and they are falling apart already and I don't even trail run. They will never beat out any North Face Shoes I have owned. They are just ok. Sloppy craftsmanship. |

| Everything I've read about these shoes is true. Nice snug heel, roomy toebox, low to the ground feel, and great tread. Good stone plate, too. A little rough feeling on the inside, but I have wimpy feet. |

| I love them. They run to size. VERY well padded. I can walk on ice/packed snow and not slip. They are my favorite shoe so far! They came with two sets of laces in case I didn't like the contrasting yellow, too! You can tell these are a quality shoe upon close examination, too. |

| These are the best trail runners I have ever owned. I bought them right before a trail running trip, and they were comfortable from day 1, even on a 20-mile run. They have a roomy toe box, a snug heel, and are totally non-slip both inside and out. The tread is excellent, it feels like having super-glue on your feet going over technical terrain because the shoes never slide. They are a little heavy, but worth it. My only gripe is how fast the outer lining broke down--I am hard on shoes, but I wore a hole in the sides of both shoes after 2 weeks. |

| It usually takes me forever to find shoes that fit. They either put pressure on my arch or are too narrow in the toe. I didn't have a lot of luck in the last two years until I found the Montrail Continental Divides. After wearing them for a month or so I decided to get another pair, cause it doesn't get much better than this. I just wouldn't recommend them for wet conditions, because water gets in very easily.
Great fit, great cushioning, great stability and they look good, too! |

| I bought one pair of the Montrail Continental Divide shoes, wore them around the house for a day then hit the trail and I didn't want to take them off. I liked them so much that I bought 2 more pairs...one for alternate running days and the other as a casual pair. Great shoes! |

| I love these shoes for trail running. They fit a little wide, which I like. They have a very roomy toe box and are super cushiony. They also breathe really well and keep your feet cool. |

| These shoes are every bit as great as described. They're snug in the heel and arch, and roomy in the toes, even going downhill. The cushioning is remarkable—very springy, even under the forefoot, which feels great on those pounding downhills. The shoes are well ventilated: mesh in the toes as well as along the sides. A great trail running shoe with a fantastic fit. |
