welp... it was close to amazing   01-04-07

First things first, big ups for their amazing service. They let me return this jacket when I had lost the original product tags, that's pretty great of them. Anyways, this jacket could be amazing. It is very waterproof, flexes well, and it is pretty dang warm. Comes with this nice furry stuff on the inside, which can be fun to tell all your friends that it's yak fur or some other fun animal. Anyways, a problem arouse with this jacket. It's short. Let's face it, when you're skiing through pow, you're gonna fall down every once in a while. This just let's the snow into your pants. That's never fun. I'm 6' 175 lbs, and pretty normal as far as body type. This jacket came up above my belt-line in the back and caused many a wind to cool down my back. I find that despite this one problem, it's a solidly made jacket. Interestingly, where the jacket fails in skiing, it handles pretty well in climbing. Never got in my way, yet still... those blasts of wind on the back.

I have skied this jacket for quite a while now and so far I have no complaints. I have skied a couple 40 degree powder days and some 4 degree blizzard days and i have stayed toasty and dry. So over all I give this 2 thumbs up.

Great Jacket...but   12-16-07

The overall fit of this jacket is great! The insulation keeps you very warm, pockets are positioned well, hood fits over a helmet and zippers are top notch. Mountain Hardwear Conduit keeps you dry, (I used this jacket in near blizzard conditions). The only drawback to this jacket (and the reason for the 4 rating) is it is a little too short. I have a smaller torso than average so I thought I would be fine but no. If you use this jacket with a bib, things will be fine.

Great jacket just a little short   01-15-07

I have been skiing and snowmobiling in this jacket. Once when it was bellow zero. It worked great. Except the jacket is a little short. I am 6'3 and it just does not cover my lower back very well. The powder skirt works well when skiing, however not the best when you are snowmobiling. I would recommend this jacket to any one that is bellow 6 ft tall.

Excellent!   02-19-07

Very impressed with this jacket. First off, it weighs nothing compared to my North Face shell with a liner zipped in it. Even though it is light, it is very warm. As warm if not warmer than my shell/liner jacket. Lots of pockets which is nice. The pimp-chimp interior looks weird but is very nice. Makes the jacket soft and comfortable to put back on even after making turns for hours and hours. You know the feeling, you go to put your jacket back on and it is kind of moist with sweaty and feels all crappy. Not this jacket. Pit zips are nice to regulate heat on those sunny days. A great jacket all the way around.

The jacket has all the feaures I was looking for and good quality. But the jacket is too short (by about 3 inches in the body) and the colour is not as in picture.

Whose bright idea was it to make a gray jacket with a brown fuzzy liner? UGLY.
