Awesome   01-16-08

When I first opened the package I was alarmed at how light it was, thought I made a mistake and got a windbreaker. Tried it on and really like the fit, it's a bit slimmer than most and that's exactly what I wanted. Got in 2 ski days with it and the jacket is great, base layer of light silk, fleece midweight top, and this jacket, with pit zips fully open = I was plenty warm at 25 deg F. The fleece mapping is well placed to make this jacket warm and lightweight. The MP3 pocket could be just a little bigger, my LG Chocolate barely fits in it but the headset cord passthrough is convenient. I haven't yet tried out the hood, I'm afraid I won't be able to get it neatly packed back into the collar so I'll wait until I really need to use it. This jacket is much lighter than any other I have, offers the same warmth, and the pit zips make it easy to adapt to climate changes without having to stop back at the lodge to shed/add layers. Worth every penny!

Pimp Chimp fleece..... I love you   01-15-07

This jacket is rad. I dig the fleece mapping, and it helps to hold in just enough heat that all I wear under this is a mid weight baselayer when I'm skiing on Piste. It's a little heavy for backcountry use, but I'll still take it up hiking if its nuking.

This is a great ski jacket. Best I've ever had. It is cool looking, functional with lots of features. It is also super light weight.

Performs as advertised   12-16-06

This is a light, good-looking, relatively inexpensive shell that has done everything I have asked of it. It fits well too.

Descent DT Jacket   11-11-06
Jerry Menter (3): rating
This is an excellent jacket. Just what I was looking for in a Ski Jacket. I have long arms (37” sleeve), and the XXL from Mountain Hardware is one of the few jackets I can count on to keep my wrists covered when my arms drive forward. The fuzzy lining added a few places on this jacket is great, and just right.

Weird   02-06-08
DKraz (4): rating
Weird Jacket- a shell with random yak hair, and absolutely no warmth. If you are looking for an insulated ski jacket, don't go with this one
