Powerstretch Zip Tee 02-07-06

The PowerStretch Zip Tee is an ideal top. It’s lightweight, yet surprisingly warm. The inner portion is soft, the outer portion is smooth which allows freedom of movement when worn under a shell or insulating layer. I wear a silkweight underneath the PowerStretch, the former providing wicking superiority. The quality is superior which is typical of Mountain Hardwear.

I use this for everything. It has never done me wrong. the zip goes down quite a ways so you can put it on with ease. The material on the outside is super tough and snug. I am 5"9 and I love the medium, it will fit really snug around the forearms and shoulders. Skiing, mountaineering, whatever, I have used this for 6 years and it does great for that all around heavy layer.

I put this garment in my daypack and have it there every time I go to the mountains. It is compact, light and warm. Just right for the times that it gets cold and I'm a long way from the car.

Great shirt. Only reason I didnt give it 5 stars is because it didnt have a pocket. Minor issue. Warm as heck. Eliminates wearing too many layers under a jacket. Can easily be worn on chilly spring/fall days as well. I'll get a lot of use out of it.

Versatile. Reversible. Slim fitting. Good as stand-alone pullover on brisk days, or as a great midweight layer on cold days. Take it everywhere; use it for everything (except the blazing heat of southern Utah summers, of course).

Very versatile piece. Wore it alone on a hike with temps starting out at 45 degrees. As the day began to warm, the Zip Tee breathed very well and I never overheated. Highly recommended!

Mountain Hardwear Power Stretch Zip Tee Long-Sleeve - Men's 12-15-06

I think this item is at or below average. Its power stretch, its good fabric and fit, but the zipper keeps coming down. It won't stay zipped. And $75 for basic power stretch top is a high.

This was my second Power Stretch long-sleeve top from Mountain Hardwear because my girlfriend stole the first. This is by far the most versatile piece I own. I love it!

The Power Stretch Zip Tee Long-Sleeve is the one item of clothing I use Fall through Spring in the Appalachians. I use it as a base or mid layer for backpacking in colder temperatures, alone on chilly mornings or evenings and for long trail runs in the winter. I bought another one so I would always have one available. I bought one for my brother who is a Geologist and does a lot of field work around the world. He never leaves without it.

This is a must have. It is the most comfortable piece of equipment that I own. It’s very warm, very stylin', very comfy. I wear it around town as much as I do in the mountains.

This is a great piece of clothing! Very warm but breathes and is so ventable(deep zipper) that it can be worn on warmer days without too much discomfort. The picture on this website is not accurate. The shirt comes with the "nut" logo on both the inner and outer collar and there is no "mountain hardwear" logo label.
