| This is a really well made beautiful colored jacket that I was really excited to receive and take out to the mountain. However when it came and I tried it on it was way to short than was practical (Im 5' 10") the micropuff that I was going to layer with it stuck out the bottom. Also it looked really boxy and was not very flattering. (even my mom who thinks everything should be plenty big for layering and moving around, agreed.) Fit aside it had really nice features - the inner pockets the sleeve pocket and the zip off hood and felt really cozy. I really wanted to like it but just couldnt make it work. |

| I shopped, ordered, returned for weeks on Backcountry, and this jacket finally made the cut! It's soft outer shell feels like it's been worn in, but repels water no problem. I live in Aspen, CO and I've used it skiing, to work, and even out at night! The blue is gorgeous, lots of compliments. When skiing I line it with my OR Aria puffy and I've never been warmer without all the bulk. The snow skirt is at the perfect height, plenty of pockets, and the hood is a bonus. I would buy this jacket again in a snap! |

| I LOVE this jacket. I got it as a tech shell to wear over other layers like my down puffy for ice climbing, mountaineering and skiing so I ordered a medium (5'5", 113lbs) and it fits well for that purpose. Arms are maybe a little long but I *did* size up and I'd rather have them too long than too short! Tons of pockets (yes, hand pockets are too low for a pack or hip belt but not that big a deal) and the construction looks very solid.
Might be too short to wear ice climbing but odds are I wouldn't have it on other than when belaying. It's about hip length on me.
Very pleased. |

| I received this coat yesterday. Fits great. Beautiful colors. Nice pocket features. I can't wait to try it out on the slopes this weekend. Here's to staying dry. Thanks Backcountry! |

| Purchased this for my wife to ski in. The web description says it is zip in compatible which is incorrect. There is no inside zipper of any kind. The color is nice and construction quality seemed good. The jacket does not have much shape to it and looks kind of square when it is on. My wife is 5'9" and the jacket seemed a bit short as well. I returned and am still looking. |

| I just received this in the mail and can't decide if I want to keep it. The Gortex is a plus. The blue color is very rich and feminine. Hand warming pockets are indeed warm, but get blocked by a pack. The outside chest pocket is very accessible with a pack. Love the zippers and unside velcro flap. Hood is a bit tight with a helmet. I wish it was lighter. The extra layer inside seems excessive and hot - I wonder how breathable that layer of fabric really is. Roomy enough to wear a fleece underneath. Powder skirt is a big plus! And it's removable. |
