I bought these shoes because I have a couple other pairs of Keens that are great when you have to be on your feet for multiple hours. These shoes do not have the awesome footbed that some of their other shoes have. If you just need a casual slip in shoes these are fine....If you stand or walk alot...not so good. The traction on the bottom is pretty weak and very slick in wet conditions.

I think this shoe is comfortable and good for walking around. I have not yet had the opportunity to test the waterproofing. However, I wish the insole was the usual Keen insole with a lot of arch support. These shoes have a ton of heel cushioning and very little under the ball of the foot and the arch.

I agree, the footbed is not the same as other Keen shoes. They feel a bit different (but not uncomfortable) so maybe it's because the bottom is so flat. I've only worn them a few times (on wet and snowy pavement) and did not find them slippery at all. Overall I'm very pleased with this shoe.
